Country Brook Design - Sky Blue Heavy Cotton Webbing with 17 Vibrant Color Options (1 Inch, 50 Yards)

Welp....if you need good cotton webbing, this is about as good as it gets. The webbing is thick and "soft-ish" if that makes sense---i.e. it's pliable and doesn't have rough edges/sharp ends like polypropylene webbing. It drapes/falls nicely without being floppy, and is comfortable to carry if you need to make a shoulder strap out of it. (I suspect it gets much softer and floppier over time though.)I made a shoulder strap for my Star Wars The Force Awakens Rey staff this Halloween, and the webbing was so easy to work with. I literally hot glued the webbing to itself, attached to the staff via zip ties, and the hot glued areas held firmly despite the staff weighing several pounds. If you just need a simple bond, hot glue really works for this webbing.For a second project, I needed to unravel the ends to make several inches of "tassel" at the end of the webbing and I found that it unraveled fairly easily with the help of some tweezers. You can see how it looked in the photo. However, It definitely took some coaxing, so if you left the ends frayed, I don't think it would spontaneously unravel on it's own---you really needed to pick the threads out with some force.The only thing that I hated was handling the roll itself. I wish they'd include a little plastic clip or "end keeper" pin-type thing, because once you start unwinding some of the webbing from the roll, it all wants to unroll itself, and therefore becomes quite unmanageable.Considering that I debated whether to get this cotton webbing over the much cheaper polypropylene webbing, I have to say that I'm glad I went with cotton---it's simple and feels nicer in the hand.

Giving this the highest rating because it was very nice webbing and excellent quality. I had not read carefully and was actually looking for more like thin twill tape. I had to return. But that was my fault. This stuff is very heavy, well made and if that is what you are looking for, I would highly recommend. It wasn’t prime, but came quickly and they were nice about the return. Lots of colors too!

I buy this consistently and have never had an issue with the quality as it was thick and heavy duty as described. This time I ordered and it was definately thinner and not as strong. I wish I could compare with a picture but they do look exactly the same just not made the same for sure. I am debating on returning it and finding another product if this continues as it is definately not heavy duty as listed.

I bought this to use in making totes, shopping bags, etc. It's good quality and true to the description. It's a great deal compared to buying in small quantities from craft/fabric stores. Delivered quickly.

It works for what I need (sort of). I unrolled it and cut the piece I needed and then realized that it has a curve to it. It is not straight and has a curve (I guess thats what I would call it), so it doesn't lay flat. So when I tried to attach my ribbon (making a keychain), the ribbon is straight and the webbing goes up so it doesn't overlap correctly. I cut it already, so I can't return it. This sucks. I maybe just got a bad batch. I haven't gone further down the webbing to see if it is just the 6 inches I cut.

The first time I bought this webbing and I received it, I liked it. It was thick and heavy as described. The second time I bought this item, which was within a month's time, I didn't really like it. It was thinner and not heavy as described. But, I still think for the price, it is a good deal.

I've bought several rolls in different colors to use in sewing. I like that it's cotton, so it can go in the wash. Seller is prompt in delivery!

I ordered this webbing to use for Bible covers for our Kids Ministry. The quality was really great, especially for the price. I had been making straps out of the canvas fabric, which was very time consuming. This webbing is really thick and easy to sew. I would recommend for book covers or tote handles. It also washed well.
