Magic The Gathering M13 2013 Core Set Booster Box 36 Packs

If you want to build up some cards at a reasonable price, this is the only way to go. I got 3 mythic rare , one being Garruk Primal Hunter. And all around pleased with the assortment.But my story. I know how to play(not very well), and I play often enough. But I get these cards for the artwork. I can sit there for hours and just stare at these beautiful cards. Ask me what cards would make for a good deck, I would have no bloody clue. Ask me what card I think is the coolest looking, you would have to throw a brick at me to shut me up.

I can't say enough good things about the core set from 2013. There are no slivers. The price on a box of boosters is significantly lower than buying boosters in the store retail for $3.95 Green has Vastwood Gorger and Titanic Growth, Blue has Watercourser and Encrust, Black has Tormented Soul and Mark of the Vampire, White has Griffin Protector and Angel’s Mercy, Red has Fire Elemental and Searing Spear. And those are just a few of the Commons.

Purchased this hoping to complete my set. In general, the packs comtained alot of the same repetative cards. I got a total of 6 mystics, 7 rares and 6 holos. None of the mystics, rares or holos were the valuable, hard to find ones. In general, I think you get better cards in the individual booster packs. For me, not a good value.

Chances are if you're buying this you already know what you're getting, reveiwing the core 13 set is pretty much pointless, there's already a million reviews out there and 95% of the people buying this are hardcore players that will just buy it and form their own opinion, I've ordered this from 3 different places, all with standard shipping, according to my order status this one hasn't shipped yet, the other two were shipped within 12 hours of me putting in my order, this one has had the status "shipping soon" for three days, one of my other packages is going to arrive soon. If you want prompt delivery shop elsewhere. Though this price is pretty good I suppose there is that.

Well I recently came back to magic, and my GF needed allot of the "basic" cards.Giant Growth, Lightning Bolt, Disfigure, etc.So we bought this core set, thinking we'd get the basics, and some decent uncommon/rares.The uncommons, and rares were fine, but the commons were utter trash compared to other core sets.No basic spells, and too many 8 cost 1/1 creatures with no effects.Over all, this set is needed to keep up to date, but you are only going to be wanting the uncommons or rares.You're better off waiting to buy booster boxes of the other sets (or older core sets, if you still need the basic spells)(Or the deck builders tool kit, as it comes with some of the basics for cheaper)If you do buy another booster box, from another set, avoid sets with less than 200 cards, this way you don't get too many repeats.(Core sets have the largest number of cards, so you don't see repeats too much)

This is a pretty straightforward purchase you are getting 36 packs of the 2013 core set. To magic the gathering players buying boxes is always the way to go especially when purchasing with friends to drive cost down. I myself and a friend bought this box and split it. We got decent pulls including four decent mythic rares one planeswalker. Overall my friend and I are very satisfied with the box and will definitely consider buying another.

If you've got a lot to spend on cards and you want enough excitement to last a couple hours with just unwrapping cards then buy this! My friend and I sat down and unwrapped these first day we got it in the mail and I got better cards than I ever expected. This box boosted me from an amateur collector to a master player!

MTG is just not the same as it used to be. I think they are just trying way too hard to make new ideas. Plus the design is just too fresh for me.

Had too many cards. I never asked for this.My cat died from them. It was disastrous. Everyone was distraught.10/10 would purchase again.
