If you have a rice loving little one in your life, you needed this yesterday! I used to dread anytime my little ones would ask for rice for dinner. My evenings would be spent picking rice kernels out of carpet! Not fun. I saw this and decided to give it a try. MAGIC! Rice every night now! You can make them big or small. Works best on fresh steamed rice. If you have to reheat, add some water and get as hot as possible for the rice to stick together.

My wife makes a dessert treat for parties that she calls truffles. The recipe is easy, but she has to hand roll all of the treats before coating in chocolate. So I told her about rice ball makers, and bought these.She was so happy and giddy using these. Now every "truffle" comes out the same size and totally spherical. She knocked out 5 dozen in the time it would have taken her to do 2 dozen rolling by hand.

Lightly spray with a cooking oil. My rice was leftover from take out. I thought it was too sticky. To make it easier to “roll” , I sprayed it with Pam. It worked fine.Very cheap plastic. The edges of the product wasn’t even cleaned up. The hinge is sketchy at best. Just be gentle with it. I’m going to try to make Arincini balls.I froze the rice balls and then I’ll use Panco. See how that goes.

Easier to load and clean than another model I have though the rice balls are a little bigger. I don’t know why but rice tastes better in spheres.

Does the job but my latch broke after a few shakes.

I make "Martha Washington Candy" every Christmas. It is butter, sweetened condensed milk, confectionery sugar & goodies added -nuts, coconut, vanilla, mini chocolate chips etc. All kinds of stuff.To finish, Each & Every One must be rolled into a ball, chilled & then dipped in chocolate.Rolling these little suckered takes forty Forevers.But.Not.This.Year! I used this handy dandy tool & it was done in short order.I Highly recommend these 100%.I bought a set for my sister who also makes M.W.C.(My candy's better...don't tell her I said that)

My daughter had been asking for this to make rice balls with sticky rice. She uses this all the time and adds the rice balls to her lunch. It’s very easy to use and clean.

Our family as a while personally did not enjoy this product. It didn't make the rice balls like we wantes no matter what the rice type. Hope it works better for you..
