Waterproof notebook cover
I bought this for my daughter for Christmas 2022. She said it’s durable and works as it supposed to.

Love it!
I purchased this for my son who is currently in ARMY boot camp. I also purchased a 3 x 5 Rite in the Rain Notebook, a 5 x 7 Rite in the Rain Notebook and a Rite in the Rain Pen. I'm not exactly sure on the exact size of the 5 x 7 notebook, but it fits perfectly inside the case. The 3 x 5 notbook fits perfect in the compartment at the top and it holds the pens securely . I only purchased 1 Rite in the Rain pen but I added other pens to the notebooks and they fit perfectly. The color of the print seems to be a faded army print. It isnt thick material, but feels durable. Inside it has 2 side compartments, one on each side. On one side I added a notebook, the other side would be great for letters and stamps. It zips very smoothly. This notebook will definitley hold more inside to store in it than what I added to it. Great gift items to send in a care package if your son is serving our country!! The quality is excellent and the shipping was very fast! Thank you!

A must for the field
This is a must have for anybody going into the field. I use it for land nav, and especially at FTXs where we are conducting 3 different missions a day, all of which have different Grid coordinates, PB locations, Objective locations, and the situation is different. Makes keeping your notes in order easy. I am even able to fit an entire TMK in the back of it with different colored strings as well. A protraction will fit perfectly in this as well.

Works perfect
I used it to carry my green reading cards for local golf courses. This nice little booklet worked great for organizing them and keeping them dry during play

Truly Weatherproof
It is fairly weather resistant and seems to be constructed well. Only problem I have is that there is no structure to the panels. The outside takes the shape of the pens/pencils and other objects inside.

Great notebook cover.
The case was great. Looked very durable. The only downfall os ot doea not fit a standard size small notebook. The size of book that this cover fits is their specific notebook. So if you buy this cover then you should go ahead and buy the note book that goes with it. Both are great products and worth buying.

Does the job, lot of money for what it is
Being used to a Spec Ops notebook cover this seems quite flimsy. It does however fulfil its purpose of containing a field book sized book and more pens than I can use. Being in the UK I'd buy a much cheaper one next time

Classic quality with room for improvement
Long-time user of RiR products and this is the third C980M I've owned. (1 TAN, 1 BLK) Legit Crye multicam material looks and feels great. The YKK zipper is solid as always and tucks away nicely if needed. Spiral bound books are suggested as any stored pens/markers/pencils will make a poor writing surface on the left hand side of the cover, although Field Flex covers will work as well. I like to tuck my no-longer-needed pages behind the writing implement holders. This cover is fairly water-resistant but wash the cover with a product called NikWax and it'll bead off like a detailed car.Suggestions: add hook/loop backing to the front of cover. This adds room for personalization and easier identification if lost. (I like to add an IR or Glow-in-the-Dark patch).Add a double-stitched nylon loop that could be folded out from the top of the cover would be nice for attachment to caribiner. Better would be MOLLE on the back.

Expensive
Good quality, pretty expensive for what you get.
