I picked the wrong brand in the size options, so it doesn't fit snugly against my windshield, but I still have been using it. Mainly what it does for me is cover up my front dashboard, which is black.By covering up my black dashboard it stops that part of the car from heating up (and my wheel too), which makes that whole area not heat up. That means the car heats up more slowly and cools off a bit more quickly.The device is made with kinda springy rectangles inside the panels that make it easy to stuff in the back seat, but otherwise spring into those flat rectangle shapes. Not having to smooth stuff out is a big plus to me.

I took the one that indicates it's for Toyota 4Runner for my GMC Acadia and it fits very well. My dashboard is well protected from the sun's heat. We are now over 100 degrees. My previous Windshield Sun Shade used to become soft and filled the car with a melting plastic smell during the high summer temps. This one holds very well and there is no smell whatsoever.

Easy to use. I love that it folds easily with a twist and you can store it in the case and it slides right into the side of my door.

I was worried about the durability since the last one I had for my Subaru Outback was very thin and flimsy. It also ripped after about a year of use. This one is much more durable since it has multiple layers. Reflective silver outside and black inside along with a Velcro strap to go around the rear view mirror. It fits my Toyota Tundra windshield perfectly with no gaps and keeps my black/black truck MUCH cooler. 100% recommended buy!
