I really would like to find a coffee bag which does not require a heated clamp to close it. Yes, there is a slide-lock re-closure strip but I would like to seal the tear off portion of the bag. This must be done thermally. I wish someone would make one with a peel off adhesive strip. We only produce a couple hundred pounds of coffee, mostly for our personal use. But, if I want to send gifts of coffee, it would save me investing in a heat sealer.The bags themselves BARELY hold a pound. You have to really stuff it in there or package 15 ounces or so. When I first opened the bags, there was a strong rubber odor. Needless to say it would have not helped the flavor of the coffee. However, after a few hours of airing them out, the odor seems to have left.

These bags make coffee taste like aluminum, Test needs to be performed to make sure your customersAre not getting poisioned

Reading the other reviews, quality control seems to be a big issue with these bags. They are sturdy and the zip closes but the vents don't keep air from getting into the bag. I filled them with coffee, closed them and gently squeezed out the excess air. Five minutes later there is air in the bag again.Won't be ordering these again.

Great for storing or transporting coffee....good closure...sturdy bag...

Although more pricier than other coffee bags - our customers like our Kona coffee in these resemble bags.

Exactly what i needed

The seal doesn’t line up on most bags. They won’t seal. Decent bags other than that. Wish I would have check them when I ordered them.
