Half the price and just as effective
Our pool was built in 2004, and it's a salt water pool. The spa is built higher than the pool. Recently the spa would end up draining half way down once the filter cycle would stop, and it kept on getting worse and worse as time went on.I asked my pool guy at Leslie's Pool Supplies what does he think it might be, since it was either a leak somewhere or air was getting back into the lines. He said it's likely the flapper valve. He was right. He said the gasket gets old and they stop doing what they are supposed to, and when they don't stop in the position they're supposed to, the water drains back into the pool. Which is what it was doing. It was pretty straightforward to replace. Once I did that, I ran the filter and waited, but the spa drained back into the pool again. But the next day when the filter came on and did a whole cycle, and it stopped, the spa didn't drain back into the pool. Problem solved for $46. This would have cost $50 at the pool store ea. I got two of the them for $46.I changed both. One was definitely the culprit and the other one was still ok, but they recommended changing since they're not supposed to last 15 years. So I should be good for another 10-15 years hopefully, unless this brand being OEM isn't as good as the original. Only time will tell. But for now, I'm satisfied and it gets 5 stars. If something changes, which I hope it doesn't, I'll update.NOTE! Make sure when you take it off, to NOTE THE FLOW DIRECTION of your valve otherwise you'll have to take it off and put it on right if you didn't the first time.

Unknown if correct product.
My 12 year old pool pluming needed new one-way valves but the part numbers didn't exactly line up. Mine were 7236 Rev 11 but this couldn't be found. This unit fit but the spring was so tight that it restricted the water pressure/flow. If you absolutely know you need this part number (7056), ignore this review.

Defective product.
The product received was defective. I replaced these before, and the product received did not say that it was made by Jandy. Wish I could provide a zero star review. Buyer beware.

Not OEM Jandy
While I did not install these, I did so because these use a plastic hinge pin vs a stainless steel pin. It may be just as good but I didn't want to take the risk.

Great value for the price
Very happy with the quality of the valve and the price. Locally they are twice as expensive.
