Colorforms Classics Holly Hobbie (2104Z)

This brought back so many memories when I was a kid back in the day!

Very cute, product cover was slightly damaged, nothing very noticeable however in the future more care should be given when shipping. Overall I am very happy with this product. Again I would advise care being given.

Love colorforms as a child so now get them for my daughter who collects them.

This is exactly like the ones I had as a little girl. I didn’t need these but I bought them because I had many hours of fun playing with this set as a child. It was great for long car rides in particular and didn’t require batteries so likely why my mom bought for me. I liked Holly Hobbie a lot back then. Had dolls and bedding even. I enjoyed seeing and holding them again, brought back lots of memories and I also enjoyed showing them to my son and telling him about playing with this as a girl. He liked checking them out and seeing how the different outfits stick on. Might get him the regular set now. These are actually printed well and the quality is pretty much how I remember. Highly recommend.

It arrived in a bubble envelope only slightly worse for the shipping. I noticed the two plastic seals on the box had already been broken. On the inside, the doll had already been popped out of her backing. I would have sent it back, but my 4-year-old niece (the intended recipient) was right there with me and wanted to start playing with it. I figured, eh. She’s going to destroy it anyway. But, if I had wanted to wrap this up as a gift or something, I definitely have sent it back.Overall, it’s a fine plaything, though not exactly the same as the Colorforms of old. These modern throwbacks are somewhat shinier, thinner, don’t stick quite as well, and are made in China. But, if you’re looking for a few minutes of, “oh, I member this…,” this item will do.

very few pieces to dress holly hobby and colorforms do not stick

For some reason I thought it would be a classic paper doll. We were surprised it’s reusable stickers. They don’t stay on that well and my daughter was eventually frustrated, but it’s a super cute doll to play dress up with.

My wife had this when she was young and loved getting it on our 20th anniversary. I knew she liked Holly Hobby but had no idea she had this as a child, just lucked out when I found it among other Holly Hobbie stuff when searching. I would give it 4.5 stars because the vinyl forms and cardboard doll are a lot thinner than we both remember and that distinctive Colorforms smell is not there. But the fact they still reissue these is great.
