Our Girl Scout Troop was earning their Scribe badge, learning to write poetry and express their feelings in words... the patch had an image of a feather pen on it, so I got these pens for the girls to write with. They were a HIT!!! They loved using them and kept giggling the whole time! They are basic ballpoint pens, I do wish they were more of a gel pen to mimic the look of an old feather ink pen. The caps/beads that come with them do not stay on, but they do not affect the pens. I took all the caps and beads off ahead of time, less small pieces to lose and drop during our meeting. Each pen came individually wrapped and all the feathers were in great shape! It has been a couple of weeks now and the pens still work great! My daughter uses hers at school at the time haha!!

Pretty, write well. Fantastic for wizard/witch themed rooms or party favors. Like most themed pens, don't grip them too hard.

We were doing a lesson in Sunday School that involved making scrolls. The K-1st grade kids received these to go with their scrolls and were soon writing and flourishing dramatically. Even an older sibling stopped by later to see if he could please have one, too. They all worked well and looked great. It was a good purchase.
