Great for use outdoors and indoors
The media could not be loaded. I really like this lights, they’re very easy to install and work great, they’re bright and beautiful. Last year I used them outside on my front yard and they looks really good! The only thing is they do not last 8 hours, more like 5 (and I’m in Miami so, I got plenty of sun here) this year I want to use them inside in my stairwell banister and I can just interchange the solar panel with the usb and plug them in to use them inside.Great buy! I highly recommend!!!

Cord-free Holiday Lighting
I purchased these lights for trees by the street. The included solar panels charged easily and the multiple modes provide for different lighting effects. I did have to return the lights as they are not as bright as traditional plug-in lights and I needed to better match the other homes on my street. I would still recommend them for those needing holiday lights in an area away from an electrical outlet if the light output is not critical.

Very pleased with these
We bought these and a similar set from another vendor on Amazon and both performed the same, so look for the best price because there are many companies on here offering essentially the same thing. We don't have an electrical outlet anywhere near the front yard but we wanted some holiday lights and that's why we gave these a shot. It was a good decision. The lights are very attractive and quite bright given how small they are. If the day was sunny, the lights would stay on from dark (around 5 p.m. Eastern Time in December) until 2 a.m. -- easily 8 or 9 hours. If the day was mostly cloudy, the lights would stay lit between 2-3 hours. We had several days of rain, and one heavy snowfall -- and the lights, solar panel and batteries were not damaged at all. We plan to put them on the deck next spring. Solar lights of all kinds have come a long way in the last few years -- they are now effective and reliable. Sure, plug-in lights are always going to be brighter and will stay on around the clock -- but sometimes you don't have the option and in those cases, these are an excellent substitute.

A decent string of solar lights
I ordered these lights because my house has no outside outlets. Solar powered lights solves that problem for me.Granted, LED lights aren't quite as bright or as big as traditional lights, but that is okay. They are a cheery light to look at out the window. And with the 8 different modes, you can thoroughly annoy your neighbors, or not.The only drawback to these lights is that I live in a very rainy place, so there is little sunlight especially in winter.I've worked around this by purchasing additional rechargeable batteries and charging them inside. I put the fully charged rechargeable battery in the panel outside and it can last 2 or 3 nights. (Caution - only use rechargeable batteries in the solar lights)I know this "defeats the purpose" of them being solar, but my main purpose was to have outdoor lights despite my house's deficiency in outdoor outlets. Some people complain that the lights stop working. There are some things you can do to prevent this, and ways to fix your lights. The first is, if using outdoors, cover the solar panel part with a ziplock bag. Or otherwise carefully seal the seam on the battery box with silicone. The lights are "waterproof" however water will eventually make its way into the battery box and corrode or damage the inside. Increase the life of the set by protecting the panel from water.I've owned these kind of lights for 4 years now. The rechargeable battery inside can die. If your lights won't light anymore, try replacing with another rechargeable battery!

Nearly Great!
I really liked these lights at first. Installation was simple, and setting the lighting features is intuitive.I would have rated this a 5 if not for the following issues: (1) The non-lit part of the wire is too short to easily find a sunny place for the solar panel (2) the charging is very sensitive to sun level.. On a cloudy day recently, the lights did not come on that night and the next day ( overcast) the lights lasted about an hour. One other warning is that the bulbs are small and give a much different effect than traditional lights. Different but interesting anyway. So, I recommend these lights if you can place the panel close to where you want the lights and there is consistent bright sun. That said, not having to dig trenches to run extension cords for traditional lights makes these issues more than tolerable.

Junk
First picture shows 2 solar panels side by side, one runs to the light on the roof and the single strand on the tree. They run off the small panel, the larger panels are these lights here. These trees in the pics supposed to have 72 feet of light on each one, these pics are taken within 1 hour of it getting dark. I have replaced the batteries with no luck. VMANOO or whatever it is, their customer service is a joke and do not help one bit. After the labor and time I put in hanging these lights up, they have lasted 2 weeks, they get constant sunlight during the day, no obstructions at all. We are in the process of finding time to pull them down and return them to Amazon since VMANOO shows no sign of helping. Granted they look good for maybe an hour max before they stop, some nights they don't even work. The biggest pain in my butt is having to hang these up in these darn trees just to pull them down again and return them.

They work 10 hours plus with a single charge!! quite impressive
Very happy with them, where I am in Australia(Melbourne) we don't get full sun every day but it still seem to charge ok. mine worked over 10 hours straight. my wife put these on the box hedges and they wonderful to watch. A bit disappointed they increased the price by 9 AUD this week for the 2 pack (I paid about 45 for the first pair about a month ago, yesterday I had to pay 52 for the repeat purchase. but I still bought them because they do work as expected and are worth the money. Solar panels look well made and switches at back and good. International delivery arrived within 2 weeks.

Didn’t work
There’s two sets of lights in the pack. One set works, but is very faint. The other set doesn’t work at all. Contacted the vendor twice, but no response.
