Great repair kit
This is a perfect cheap kit for repairs. No issues at all.

better have the right tools
Be sure you have a good solder succer and some solder wick, a good gun and good lighting maybe a magnifier. Once you get the board cleaned up reassebly is pretty easy The kit worked great. saved me $300 took about 3 hours

Worked as expected
Years ago I replaced 6 of the 7 instrument cluster stepper motors. My 2003 yukon denali has 7 gauges. At the time a decided the trans temp gauge was least important. A couple years ago it failed. I mostly ignored as knew I had not replaced it. I had to pull the cluster for anonther reason so I order this kit to fix the last motor.I pry tool was a nice addition to help get the dials indicators off. It also came with replacement lights, but mine are working fine.The kit included solder, but I think I it would have been more useful to include some braided de-soldering tape to remove the solder from the existing gauges.
