TBH I didn’t expect this product to work. I ordered it in a kind of desperation, fully expecting it to be ineffective, but I needed an indoor, safe insect repellant so I gave it a try. We have a covered container for food scraps that hangs inside the cabinet door under our sink; we live in a cabin with a septic tank, so a food disposal isn’t possible. We collect several days’ worth of food waste before we tie off the plastic bag liner, trash it, and put in a new liner. Even though the container has a pretty decent seal around the top, it stays full of what seems like dozens of little gnat-like bugs. Each time I open the lid, they are crawling in the food and all over the container, and they buzz out into the cabinet. I put one of these balls in the bottom of the container, below the bottom of the liner (that is, outside the bag). The very next day, the bugs were gone. In the next few days, I saw a total of two insects in the bag, and so I added a second ball. Now it is 100% bug-free. I can hardly believe it. I can detect only a faint spice/herb odor, which is mild and pleasant. I’m now a believer, and I heartily recommend this product.

Need time to determine effectiveness but they are a bit pricey for what you receive.

They work great for me. I like that the aroma beads have a nice, fresh scent. They’re small enough to place in my trash can and shoes to keep gnats and bad odors away.

This works so well inside by kitchen cabinet. Will purchase again.

I used for getting rid of gnats in my motor home as suggested on the description on the comments. It does not work at all. The only scent is when you first open the wrapper. After several days, there is no difference. This product does nothing. Don’t waste your money!
