These Petri dishes are awesome! The quality is wonderful! I ordered some 100mm ones(from another vendor) and then these smaller ones. The larger ones I ordered had a bunch that were broken. These ones had NONE that were broken and the lids seal TIGHTLY. I love that they are tight since the other ones I got are soooo loose that bacteria from the air got in and ruined the experiment on appx 40% of those Petri dishes. These ones didn't have that problem. I also love the grid lines.The smaller dishes were a little hard for me to know how much agar to put into them and some of them I put in too much so it overflowed which brought bacteria into the dish. But the others I didn't overfill worked wonderfully!!!One thing you are supposed to do is when you swab the Petri dish with the specimin, you do it in a zig-zag or other notable pattern which helps you know if it was bacteria, viri or fungi from your experiment or from the air etc.I would definitely recommend this item. If they had 100mm from this vendor in this brand I would definitely buy them.

I bought these petri dishes for the board game Pandemic (2013 edition, newest as of this writing). There is a set on Amazon specifically made for that game, but I wanted real petri dishes, not just plastic cases with stickers. Thse fit perfectly in the space in the box (one of them upside-down) and although the pieces fit a little tight, they do all fit in the dishes (except for the pawns!). One of the dishes arrived cracked, but the other 19 were good, and since we only need 5 for a set, this worked out fine. The lids can be a little loose, but somehow, twisting them on finds a tighter position, so they do stay on when picking them up. I eventually saw another 65mm polystyrene petri dish which would have a little more room on the inside (these are 65mm at the base), but these work and are just so nice looking.

All of the Petri dishes came cracked. It was very important for me to start a project for my daughter today and I have no Petri dishes to do it. Very disappointed.

They work well for what we bought them for, but the lids do not stay on very well. Also the plastic feels like very cheap plastic.

Arrived on time in good condition, still sterile in the bag. The dishes nest nicely together, and while it took me a minute to understand how the lid fit onto the base (a bit different than others), they work well.

Item delivered quick and efficiently as described! I always carry a couple of these in my Trout vest for stream side bug samples. Thanks

These were okay. The broke fairly easy, but they were cheap.
