I DEBATED ABOUT GIVING THIS PRODUCT A FIVE STAR BECAUSE THE PILLOW ITSELF IS GREAT AND HAS HELPED ME GREATLY WITH MY KNEE PAIN AND HIP PAIN , BUT IT DOES HAVE A TERRIBLE GARLICKY SMELL TO IT. I TOOK THE COVER OFF AS SOON AS I GOT IT AND WASHED IT IN BABY SHAMPOO AND PUT THE FOAM PILLOW ITSELF OUT ON MY DECK IN THE SUN BUT IT DIDN'T HELP THE FOAM AT ALL. I GUESS IT JUST NEEDS TO WEAR OFF. OTHER THAN THAT I REALLY LIKE THE PILLOW.

Love this product. It works to keep my knees from touching when I side sleep. I have had two knee replacements & it just feels more comfortable for my knees & my back with the pillow in place. This is smaller than a regular bed pillow (easier to turn over at night), and firmer than a small throw pillow. One works well for me, but I can see where some people might like to use two....one between the knees and one between the lower legs to keep the whole leg up. Haven't washed it yet. *** Would have liked an extra cover case to use while the original gets washed.***

I received my pillow yesterday and was very excited to try it because I had total knee replacement surgery a little over two weeks ago. The structure of the pillow is absolutely perfect and works great but I have never smelled something as terrible as this pillow.I have no idea what the smell is but it is horrible. I am going to try washing the pillow and the cover to see if the smell can be eliminated. In reading the reviews for this product I did not see anything about an offensive order. Hope washing it rectifies the problem.UPDATE after washing the pillow and the pillow cover that smell has gone away. It did take days for the pillow to dry.

Loved the pillow it works wonders but I rate it a 3.5 over all. The pillow supports well. Eased my knee pain and I slept like a baby. But the down side to this pillow is the horrible chemical smell that came with the memory foam. I’m told it will go away according to articles I’ve read on line but the smell is bad enough I’ll give it a 3.5. I recommend a nice scented candle to sleep with the first few days or insence or even a glade plug in lol.

The pillow was soft to touch, but held its shape... night after night. Sleeping with this pillow between my knees was easy to get used to. I'd recommend this knee pillow!!

I waited on reviewing this knee pillow until I had used it every night for three months in order to make sure its performance would hold up. It is great. I suffer badly from constant hip and pelvic pain due to a few serious injuries. I have to side sleep due to pubic symphysis issues, but even then, I have not been able to sleep without pain in a long time. Although I am still not pain free, this knee pillow has made a huge difference in my life.Highlights:—It is firm enough not to collapse, but not hard. It is a bit firmer than the firmest memory foam used in mattresses and has not lost a bit of its shape in 3 months.—The indentation makes it fit between the knees without discomfort.—It is wide enough to keep my hips well aligned and relieve a lot of the pressure created by side sleeping, but not so wide that I feel astride a horse (a problem with other brands).—The cover comes off and is washable.

This knee pillow is different than any other I’ve tried. It is not too firm and does not get overheated. I barely noticed it was there.But I did in the morning! No knee hip or ankle pain after just one night. And I woke up with it still in place. Usually these things end up on the floor.The cover is amazingly soft. It is like my sons bamboo viscose baby blankets which makes it soft enough to use as a head pillow while relaxing on the couch.It also helped significantly reduce the swelling in my feet because it allowed me to keep it actually elevated comfortably. I also liked the double sealed plastic bag it came in preventing dust germs and bugs in transit.Hopefully it keeps its shape for a long time and I will definitely be purchasing one for my husband.

The biggest issue with this thing is its soooo small. For some reason I thought it would be the size of my upper leg but man its only maybe 6 inches in length. So by itself it does not solve the problem. My legs need to be separated entirely at this width to be comfortable. So it is dreadfully uncomfortable for my legs to just be separated at the top of my leg which creates my calves and feet pressing on each other even more. So I still have to sleep with an additional regular pillow between my calves with this pillow at my upper legs. I am thinking of ordering another one for my calves but then I'm at 40 bucks total for two of these things and I still don't know if that'd feel good. (I am 6' , 230lbs, mostly muscly man. Large legs and calves - uncomfortable to be touching)
