Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind Blu-ray

I really loved it ,the desert-punk setting (mad max etc.) Mixed with a diverse cast of characters,it was a joy ,surpring.

It's good. I am not usually into cartoons, but this was solid.

I went in with some trepidation: I enjoyed MKL: Scorpion's Revenge (which was fun with Johnny Cage) buthated MKL: Battle of the Realms, which was boring and had none of the charm of the first movie. As it turns out MKL: Snow Blind is a fun ride:+ Beautiful artwork and animation+ Terrific combat scenes, with a ton of ultra-violence (animated, so its ok)+ Story is decent, and there is a nice "reveal" at one point (ie. one of the characters has a secret identity)+ Relatively short (80 minutes). That's a huge plus in my book+ Features one devastatingly gorgeous female martial artist (a villain, but what are you going to do)- Some pacing issues toward the middle of the movieAfter the borefest that was "Battle of the Realms", I was pleasantly surprised by this one. Recommended.

Allow me to be the first critical reviewer on this one. If you've watched the 1st 2 Legend films then you know what you're getting into production wise. I have to say though I found the animation itself to be very below WB's best. A lot of fight scenes are cool and look good, but a few movements from characters look janky and don't track well with the scenery. One scene in particular was really jarring and included some 360 rotational tracking that wasn't well done and made the character look like they were standing still on a lazy susan.Story wise...it's meh. It plays with the established lore and at first you might wonder where this takes place w/in the "timeline", but once you get to the end you'll see what they were going for. I can even go as far as to say I'm pretty sure most of this will be non canon going forward. It's a nice diversion none the less. It's pretty much "What if ____ character ending from MK11 came true?"All in all it's fun and that's more than I can say for Battle of the Realms.

More mature take on Mortal Kombat. The story was well done although the villains at first take aren’t particularly deep. Some lesser known characters are used in interesting ways.

I’ve been a big MK fan for over twenty years, and I love what WB Animations have done with the franchise. This movie is a creative “What if?” take on the events of MK 11. It’s action-packed, bloody, and features some of the lesser-used characters of the series. If you’re an MK fan who likes an original story instead of the rehashed tournament stuff, you’ll love this!

Nice story regarding sub zero (I think) and the successor Snowblind.although a lot of violence but not in a way it’s overdone or so, just a good animated MC story
