Great for fidgeters!
I'm a fidgeter, so the fact that this footrest can tilt back and forth while staying at the same height is perfect for me. Raising it up and down was a little tricky to get the hang of, but once I found the right height I haven't needed to move it at all.I honestly have no idea if this has an option to stay still, so if you want to be able to press your feet against a solid, unmoving surface you may want to read other reviews or the product description to see if that's possible (sorry for not being more helpful!), but if you're a fidgeter like me, this footrest is fantastic.Even beyond fidgeting, it's nice to be able to shift my leg position to avoid being stuck in one place the entire day. I haven't really experienced any leg numbness since purchasing this. I paid full price and got absolutely nothing for this review, just trying to be helpful! :-)

Works great!
Bought this to use at my desk. I am 5 ft tall. If my chair is tall enough for my arms/hands to be at proper keyboard height, my feet don't touch the ground. I was developing back/leg issues from not having decent posture because of this. 2nd day using this and much better! I like the way moves. No one sits perfectly still. I can still fidget my ankles and feet, bounce my knees, etc. I reversed it so back of it is actually closest to me, that way avoid the adjustment part (it sticks out). Doesn't matter which way you have it anyhow - it moves equally both from both sides. Seems sturdy enough - it is a foot rest, not a step stool. You aren't supposed to stomp on it. Its for your feet to rest on. It is plastic - it won't hold up to abuse.

I have two of these - they are perfect for a short legged woman that is 5'3''
This is a great product. I've used several over the past 10 years at different workplaces and purchased two of my own for my business and home office.

It's heavy plastic and should last a while
For starters its not easy to set the height bar, but I did put it down gently and it held. I was able to out one foot on then the other. So far no pain but time will tell. Its better than rrsting my foot on the plastic recycle bin. I am going to keep it.

I really liked it, but in less than a few months ...
I really liked it, but in less than a few months the brackets that allow it to move up and down broke, I was very disappointed. It only stayed under my desk and was used as a prop for my feet. I am only 140 lbs so it wasn't because I put a lot of weight onto it.

Worth it, definitely
Love it. No assembly. I am short but don't want to but my chair down any lower. I was worried about cutting off circulation though and varicose veins. Now I can put my feet up on this and feel the relief in the back of my legs. It is adjustable and it is sturdy. Happy I finally bought it.

Allows for lots of adjusting
So far it seems to be working well. It allows you a lot of height and angle adjustment so you can really experiment and get comfortable. It doesn't grip to the floor as well as I'd like, and if I put the wrong pressure it will slip, which I think is annoying. I love the bubbly surface texture! It feels great on my bare feet. Overall I'm happy and looking forward to the ergonomic benefits.

I wish there was a way to lock it in place
