Good casting line for a good price, flows through guides very well, probably one of the better budget lines and has certainly put some nice fish in the boat

Sinks like a stone. I use this line for lakes when I need to get DEEP. Love it for vertical retrieves starting right off the bottom. If you want to get down this is the one. Casts like a typical full sinking line. This line does not have the no stretch feature like some of Rio's other lines but that has never been a problem for me. I get very solid hook sets. Don't know about the response on the retrieve. A no stretch might give you a bit more responsiveness on the retrieve but I've never felt like I was lacking using this line.

will use this for deep water fly fishing..Also - will cut lengths ( 3ft. .. etc ) and loop each end.Can add to fly line- and then add tippet to other loop - makes the end of a floating fly line sink..plus there's enough left to put on a reel..

I like the sinking line, but it gets down pretty darn fast so I'll be using this for the monsters in really deep water.

RIGGED ON SHORTER THAN NORMAL ROD...BUT CAST FINE....
