I was diagnosed with diabetes in 2013. Since that time, I haven't had anything resembling a bagel. First, I should say I am a bagel snob. I lived in NY as a kid, and I returned a couple of times to stay a bit as an adult. Nothing beats a New York bagel. The real deal. So it spoiled me for other bagels. However, I will say that THESE bagels are really GOOD. They are the ONLY low carb bagels that I've ever found that are worthy of the name bagel. I really thought I was throwing money away when I ordered them, but these are worth every penny. It felt like a real luxury. These had the bite, the mouthfeel of a real bagel, and the taste was really good. Nothing tasted low carb, and they were WAY better than the local ones in this southern town where I now live. I put a schmeer of cream cheese on my "Everything" bagel, and I was all set for breakfast. The wonderful bread that Sola makes gave me the courage to try these, and I am truly happy I did. I really like these! The texture is spot on and just like a real bagel and the flavor is delicious! It was great with just butter, and I can’t wait to try it out with some cream cheese! I’m happy to finally find a keto bagel that is delicious but…….They are sooooo expensive! And they only come 4 to a pack so they go quickly. I will buy them sparingly, but if they either decreased the price or added a few more bagels, I’d be obsessed!

My Sola low carb Blu-berry bagels arrived today - 5 days earlier than I expected.I tried one today for dinner - toasted with cream cheese & chives and 2 hard boiled eggs. The bagel wasn't not bad.It was soft, toasted very well. Did not break apart on adding cream cheese; chewy but not as chewy as regular bagels.The taste is something I'm still making a decision on. I think I like it, but I found a slight sour edge - but that could possibly have been the chives in my cream cheese - or possibly the flaxseeds...but the taste was not off-putting or enough to make me regret buying them.Thus, when I have another one, I will have it simply toasted with butter to get the true taste of the bagel.It's possible that I am better served with plain Sola low crab bagels or the sesame bagels - as those were the ones I liked pre-keto.No, these bagels do not contain blueberries - but I think they are worth the price for the convenience of having a low carb bagel without having to make a fathead dough bagel.

I have now tried 3 or 4 different brands of similar "high fiber," "low net carb" bagels and I have to say that if I stay true to my latest (can you say nearly all my adult life!!) quest to reduce the amount of Carbs that I put into my mouth, that I finally believe I have found the ONE. Do they taste like water boiled bagels made in NYC, no they do not. But those "original' beauties are available here in the South or most places outside of the Northeast to be fair. But compared to others that I have found frozen in the grocery stores and two others that I have purchased and had shipped to me, like I had these sent to me, with a smear of cream cheese and a nice toasting, these are more than worthy to "dunk" into my morning coffee and enjoy. Would, no Definitely Will be purchasing these again..

Texture is great but these have a weird taste, almost like fish.

Oh my goodness! I have tried other lower carb bagels but NONE compares to these! Yes, they're expensive but well worth the price. Too expensive for me to eat everyday but a couple times a week is very doable. As the bag suggests, I've put them in the freezer. I individually wrapped each bagel separately and put them back in their bag. Makes it so easy to just grab on the night before for the next morning. I won't be buying them often but these & the everything bagels are now my go too.

These bagels arrived fresh and soft and tasted better than any other bagel brand I’ve tried!

Taste and texture are great. Very expensive though.
