Compact, much brighter than standard GoPro, Less expensive and easier to mount
Compact and very bright. Less expensive than GoPro, much brighter, and no more bulky considering that the GoPro requires either a waterproof or Media Mod housing. Quite a bit brighter than the Suptig RSX-346 with the 36 small LED's and single GoPro battery. Light is less bluish than the GoPro with diffuser or the Suptig. Seems well made with solid casing. I haven't had a chance to check for waterproofing. I will grease the gasket, although that won't help if the leak is at the button or front lens.

Broken on the first dive
Took this dive light to use with my GoPro Hero 11 to the Great Barrier Reef. First of all, the light is way too focused, no matter what setting you use. Only when you have something directly centered on the light is it useful, thus for camera purposes it only illuminates the center of the frame which causes the image to look unnatural (day or night). Secondly, during the first dive, an issue developed where the light will not turn off or change settings at all without removing the batteries. This makes it impractical to use underwater when there is even the potential need to power cycle it at all. So now it is not worth using, and like others I missed the return window because of being on the dive trip. Consider not purchasing this item due to low quality.

Marketed for the GoPro Underwater - Useful for the DSLR On Land
The YALLSAME Aluminum Underwater Dive Light may be marketed for the mini action camera market but they are just as useful for the DSLR video photographer. I don't own a GoPro (yet) so my review will be focused on the light's utility to the DSLR photographer (still and video). This kit comes with a single mount that will work with your camera's hot shoe mount or a tripod with the camera's 1/4-20 female mount or, for that matter, any number of things that provide either a male 1/4-20" or a color shoe mount. The kit also provides a dual mount so that two lights or a light and another accessory can be mounted on the aforesaid single mount to which the dual mount will attach. The light is BRIGHT providing 450 Lumens at 6 brightness levels with a color temp of approx 5000K. The dual batteries are rated to power the light for up to 9 hours and its 50 meter waterproof rating means that if you drop your camera into the brink at least your lights will continue to work. The light provides for three different types of recordings: action, single target and ambient lighting, each with its own brightness range and maximum runtime. It is charged through the included micro USB cable which will attach to your independently supplied bower block. All in all this is a very versatile light for using your DSLR or mirrorless camera to take still photographs or videos. Given its lengthy runtime and its different light settings it earns a solid 4 star rating from me. If you are in the market for a video light that can operate on land or on the sea this light should be on your shopping list as a possible purchase. The only drawback that I can point to is the lack of other colors or effects that can be found on other lights at comparable prices - whether that is important enough to you to give up the significant protective features of this light is a decision you need to make for yourself. For me it was the reason for the 4, rather than a 5, star rating.

Relly like the inclusion off the dual mount as the pictures show.
Light has two batteries, one changer cable, and a number of options, and a dual mount. Battery charges in case and LED lets you know when done. During operation, hold power for two seconds to turn on, press for one second to switch between hi/low power and different lighting modes. Modes use different LED's so that they can put a lense in front to focus or diffuse LED light. S - mode is for action sports brightest wide mode, T - mode is targeted and is the lowest lumens but provides a narrow focus, and A - mode is ambient which is almost exactly between the other two but uses an "ultra wide angle" pattern. You can see the letter on the back of the light and blue means high and green mean low. I have been diving for years but not during the proliferation of sports cameras. Last dive I used an iPhone and a Divevolk case and got some great shots but needs additional lighting and the Divevolk does not have a shoe for a mount. As you see in the images, I am using this with an action camera (Mi Action 4K) which is a basic action camera and a enclosure, mounted to the included dual mount and then on a wristband that has a 1/4" screw (attachment included with the light) for the dual mount.Light (on land so far) does seem to be all that it is advertised to be and the included attachments are nice so you can likely take existing gear and integrate this without having to buy more. One note, for improved waterproof condition when being used, they recommend not leaving the case closed when not in use. Seems some concern about compressing the seal since no spare is included this makes sense they would want to help insure it lasts.

Great value
Worked well all the way down to 140 fsw. Lasted over an hour as a primary light on night dives.

Light stuck at always on after first dive trip
Like the product for lighting intensity options. Considering the price, I would expect a better product. But after one trip of only 8 dives, it's stuck at always on mode. There's no way of switching off the light except removing the batteries or until the batteries dies off. Not sure if the seller has a solution?
