Love these.Sturdy. Easy to write on with a sharpie.Look cute in the garden.I would recommend putting clear packaging tape over the label once you write on it so it will not fade or run when it rains or in the sun.

They are super cute and you can write on them with a permanent marker which I already had so made it more user friendly than having to buy a special marker. They are fairly smaller than I thought, but it worked out perfectly because I realized they were actually the perfect size! They were enough to be seen and be able to read what I wrote on the plaque, but small enough that it didn't take over my entire garden. And I also loved that there were so many included for such a fair price that way I can pick and choose what I want to plant and not have to worry about making sure I have something I already made a sign for!

Purchased these in the past and have now received a second order. They have a rustic look that will appeal to many home gardeners. Our first batch darkened and faded over time (outdoors in rain and sun). We hope to be improving our current batch by coating each label with Spar Urethane to waterproof it after writing the inscription in permanent marker. The expectation is that this will make them last longer. Otherwise, they are nice. Recommended, if you want to try dipping each in Spar Urethane as described.

What a great way to label your outdoor plants and garden plants! Very durable and when written on with a permanent marker it stays even when wet. Doesn’t smudge. Would highly recommend!

I got these to put in my garden to label each type of plant. The quality is good and they are the perfect size. They perform great! I used a sharpee on them and after rain and watering my garden, they still hold the marker so they are definitelywaterproof. They are very easy to use and you get so many for such a low price!

I ordered two packs of these for the garden, in March and April 2018. The first pack arrived with all intact tags, and while they have become QUITE moldy being poked into the soil as garden markers, none have yet broken in a month of use.The second pack had one arrive split along the vertical axis to the side of the stem, and two more have fallen apart the same way 2 and 3 days after being marked and placed in the garden.These are very attractive at first, and I received positive comments from visiting relatives, but would be better suited to cheese plates than garden use.If using an ink pen or marker, expect extreme bleeding of the ink along the grain of the bamboo, making your letters VERY messy with permanent marker. "Archival ink" micron pen ink does not bleed noticeably, and neither runs from the tag in the rain.Pros: fairly inexpensive, eventually biodegradable, good for short term dry use, look like wood-burned little signs if you use a non-bleeding ink, not floppy or tallCons: Short label stem allows the labels to tip over in the soil as the surface dries, as well as forces ground contact with the top part of the label- not just stem, many inks bleed, very mold-prone, not good for wet use, fragile, may arrive broken, expect a single season of use at most. Acceptable for home gardens, but not anywhere where moldy labels would be viewed by clients.I do not regret my purchase, as they have been a good way to learn what I am and am not seeking for my garden labels, but would not recommend these to others.

Good quality and what you would expect.

These were just what I wanted. They look so nice in my greenhouse. Used colored pencils to add that extra color. - Update - used in my greenhouse for 1 month then moved them outside with my plants. About half of them broke. Split in half the long way or the bottom half broke off. They are not meant to be wet. I spent time on making these labels look nice but in the end it wasn’t worth it to me if these couldn’t last one season.

These are very nice. I use a label maker to add th3 name of the plant so it looks very neat and orderly.

It's good to see a natural product used for plant labelling. I cannot honestly say how robust they are, but bamboo is usually tough; I have given 5 stars based on their eco-friendly nature and the good service.

Practical bamboo labels with area that is large enough to write clear names of plants. Sharpie-type permanent markers do a great job on these for writing names.
