Acoustic Guitar Shaped House Key SC1#68

Unfortunately, the key I recently purchased was not the correct type of key I needed. But that being said, my current key that I tried to replace was essentially the same guitar key and it's done pretty well over the years. I tried to replace it because the "neck", or actual lock part of the key is slightly bent. But it still unlocks the door after all these years despite the bend, so hey, still a good key.The design has chipped off a bit on my older key, but it's still recognizable as a guitar and the defining shape has helped me pick out my set of keys from the rest.

I really liked the key when I first got it. I've had it for several months now and it's starting to get pretty beaten up looking. The key is on a ring with several other keys. I seriously doubt that it will last a year.

This is good for the guitar lover who has everything but unfortunately two things are wrong with this.... 1) when you go to get the key copied/made (at like Lowes or Home Depot) the key is not of solid quality so it doesn't make a precise key. It then sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. 2) The paint chips off over time and with use and so it doesn't look as good.... and this happens pretty rapidly too it, depending on your key chain. Skip this.
