Comfy and Well-made
Comfortable, affordable alternative to the big-name baseball boots. I had a pair of the other kind but they were getting a bit too narrow for my feet. These have a bit more room to breathe, width-wise.They look good, and feel well-made. So far, so good!

Male/Female Size claim seems to skew to Male only
So I was concerned about the Size 9 Male/Female listing as I wanted 9 Male - they came as US 9 / EU 43 which was perfect for me, a male 9. I may have been lucky though as a male 9 vs female 9 are definitely not the same thing, techncially at least.

Chuck, who?
No, these aren't Converse All Stars, and I've gone through many a pair of those.I'm at a point in my life that I no longer care about advertising a brand on my feet. I know the style of sneaker I like, and this is it. There is only a slight difference in the quality of the canvas of these shoes, but doppelgängers always have a tell. The biggest tell with these is that they don't cost $60.The soles are straight rubber (without any felt used to disguise a shoe as a slipper to avoid certain import taxes).Aglets and eyelets are well made.I love these shoes.

Very nice!
Wow!I'm impressed.I'm a huge fan of Chucks, that said, I'm not a "brand name" crazy as I'm not looking to impress anyone with the brand name I'm wearing. That said, these are well made shoes unless you plan on going hiking in them, which Chucks weren't designed for.For the price, they are clean, comfortable and nice looking.I'm not expecting them to last forever...nothing does, but for the time being... Converse can wait in line till the economy stabilizes.Looks good without breaking the bank. Brand names don't care about your finances in these hard times, in fact...their products get a bit more pricey. Be smart!

If aesthetics are important to you...
Well, first things first.... It appears that these did not come in the box they should have. (Picture included). Also, the toes of each shoe are scuffed. Pictures included. Now, i bought these to deadlift at the gym... i don’t really care about the toes; however, there’s no reason not to receive an item in the box they’re supposed to be shipped in [damaged or not] and furthermore when you order an item it should look new when you receive it. Price aside ... it’s the principle behind spending your earned money and receiving a product you expect to be brand spanking new until you yourself scuff then toes. Some folks buying these probably care that the white stay white and all of those other aesthetic things. Fortunately, for this seller I can live with it.Sizing. I went and checked a couple pairs of older shoes, before ordering, to make sure I was getting the appropriate size. I ordered men’s 9’s and received men’s 9’s according the shoes. I think they’re a little large as an 8.5 would be a better fit. Every shoe style, brand, whatever, varies so I’m not too upset about that. It’s not awful. But it’s a fact.Comfort. I hate Chucks and I find these just as uncomfortable. You flat foot people - I feel bad for you. But, they’re what i expected. Again... using these to deadlift at a gym and not an every day comfort shoe.Quality. You know... for $22 I’m surprised. They seem rugged. Time will tell.Super fast shipping. Item *mostly* as described. My feet are flat on the inside which is the idea for proper deadlifts. We’re good.Could’ve earned another star had they come in their original box without aesthetic defects.
