What It Takes To Be Strong
The carnage continues in One Punch Man volume 12. The fighting in and outside of the ring is getting intense. As the martial arts tournament continues we are getting down to finals. Of course Saitama continues to breeze through his opponents. But what is very interesting is seeing how the other heroes who entered stack up compared to the other fighters. A few results of the fights surprised me.Outside the tournament the monster association continues to wreck havoc on the world. Their propose for the attack is mystery but one thing is for sure casualties mount on both the Heroes and Monster sides. Who will be left after all the dust has settled. And of course the wild card of Garo to hunt strong opponents. The artwork of the fights has an amazing amount of motion to them. One Punch Man continues to be a visual treat. Though it should be mentioned there is a fair amount of gore with a few monsters defeat. So you have been warned. This was another good volume for One Punch Man. Slowly all the combatants are meeting in the same place. Who will remain? We will just have to wait for the next volume.

Another Wow! issue
One-Punch Man's creators continue their amazing run of superlatively entertaining story and art. The martial arts tournament proceeds, with some surprising wins and losses, not to mention insights into the personalities of some of the contestants. Outside the stadium Genos mops up one monster after another -- until he tangles with a superfast cockroach-man. As the monster onslaught continues, we get to see Drive Knight, Child Emperor, Pig God, and Watchdog Man in action, and the shadowy Monster King is revealed. Garo takes his shot at Watchdog Man, and ... AAARGH! SIX MONTHS until we find out what happens!<<Update: Double AAARGH!! Make that OVER A YEAR to wait ... Books 13 and 14 leave the Garo/Watchdog Man business hanging and follow other events ... #15 is scheduled for January 2019!

This series is hilarious
I absolutely love it. I love getting to know king in the last few books, and I love his bonus story at the end. I have this whole series and the anime. I want more.

Older logos on the spine!
I actually got an older print edition of the book. This one has the older versions of the Shounen Jump (the circle behind the "SJ") and Viz Media (a black box around the "viz media") symbols on the spine. It doesn’t bother me, but it might bother you if you're looking for a uniform bookshelf.
