Genuine 3 Knot African Elephant Hair Bracelet

I like this bracelet, a lot, a lot! I am as happy as a pig in poo, that I purchased this bracelet. And delivery was right on time, actually, it arrived earlier than I expected.

This is the worse quality product I have ever purchased. The bracelet has been worn exactly 3 times. The knots have come apart. It looksawful. It is obvious that this item was poorly made. The item is beyond "unacceptable".I cannot locate my receipt for purchase but I will be contacting Amazon to inquire into how the item can be returned.This bracelet was not cheap to purchase but it gives the appearance that it was. Had it been manufactured better it would have lastedbeyond 3-4 wearings.

I've worn elephant hair bracelets for decades -- they don't last forever and every couple of years something will usually break on them and you have to get another. The one I just received is by far the skimpiest, thinnest and loosest (as in holding adjustment) I've ever had. Honestly - it just seems CHEAP. Another irritating factor is that they proudly note "Franvis Cary" as being involved in making the bracelet at the top of the page. This is very misleading since "Francis Cary" is the godfather of elephant hair items!!! I guess "Franvis" is another name - but close enough to make you think that you are getting a quality item... I don't doubt this is real elephant hair - but it's NOT a nicely made item. Since the elephant hair trade is going to be abolished by law in the not too distant future - I think I'll simply bite the proverbial bullet and buy a couple of real Francis Cary bracelets from his site and be done with it. I'm sure they will last longer than most - I can't in any level of good conscience recommend this vendor's product...

It pretty nice I dont care for the third knot though I seem to bump it on everything and loosen the bracelet , so I am constantly fiddling with readjust the fit. So I will be ordering a two knot next . and this will go in the interesting box .

I was surprised to find this item online. In May of 1968 while serving in North Vietnam I was given a bracelet like this. The three knots represent the Holy Trinity. It was later cut off my arm at a field hospital after I was wounded.

This item is advertised as coming from "Franvis Cary." I have ordered and received Mr. Cary's product. This is too small and not nearly as refined as Francis Cary's work product. It shipped from Zimbabwe, not South Africa. I have concluded that it is not, as advertised, from Francis Cary. Avoid it.
