Very efficient 10BAR multi-mode water pump up to 70°C hot water
Stunning well made pump. This has four modes of operation to cater for under floor heating, series configured with bypass radiators or all parallel fed radiators. The fourth default mode is Automatic and is the mode best to start the pump. Its power consumption is tiny with a minimum of 5W. It packs a high head pressure of up to 10BAR which draws a maximum of 39W. The inlet and outlet are stsndard. The 1m mains wire is a fitted flex with open tails for fitment into a junction box or controller. The pump comes with rubber inlet and outlet washers and a really good, well written, clear manual. I use it for my irrigation system for my orchids and carnivorous plants (using the underfloor heating mode) and its excellent! Happy to highly recommend, Andrew

Looks very promising
I can’t install this yet, so can’t fully test it, but I’m impressed with what I see. It appears well-made and finished and certainly has a good weight to it (about 1760 grams). The description says minimum consumption 5W, and that’s repeated on the pump. But it also gives maximum 39W on the pump, so I don’t really know what to expect of running costs. It comes with 1 metre of flex. The flex plugs into the pump and has bare tails on the other end. The instructions are comprehensive, on heavyweight glossy paper in booklet form. They’re written in good English (and only English – you don’t have to put up with a thick book in multiple languages). The pump is made in China, which may put you off buying, given many of China’s activities around the world, but at least it’s distributed by a UK company. Oddly, although it comes in a strong cardboard box, there’s little packaging in there, just a piece of foam in the base. So, the pump rattles around in the box – probably not a big deal but a little surprising.Cheaper pumps are available but you can also pay a great deal more. A Grundfos, for example, is likely to cost more than double the £97 of this one. Tricky decision on which to buy. The big brands are expensive, but they’re well-established and you know what you’re getting. The last thing you want is to buy a cheap one and have to replace it after a year or two.But this Wärmer pump isn’t cheap-cheap, it’s reassuringly mid-priced, so I think I’d take a chance on it. I just can’t justify five stars until it’s been in use for a while.

Excellent replacement pump
Our central heating pump was starting to leave this mortal coil with typical issues such as the downstairs radiators struggling to heat up in February this year. Although it kept going we knew we had to get round to changing the pump.We have a family member who is a gas engineer and basically told us the pump would need renewing soon. This central heating pump was perfect for the job.He said the price was about right for a new replacement pump although they can run into a couple of hundred pounds this is a mid priced but none the less good quality pump.He also commented on the energy efficency of this pump compared to our old one, being much more energy saving and we should see a small saving this year on our heating bills. He also commented that the pump was literally 'popped' on, wired up and working without anything further to do. Although I'm sure that's not the technical steps to replace a central heating pump lol he did mention that it was a quick and easy job for him. This particular pump has been scored 3rd placed in a top ten list of central heating pumps at time of review so I'm guessing this is a very good pump.It certainly hasn't caused any issues since being installed, no noises apart from the usual pump noise in the airing cupboard when it starts up.The heating system is now back to full strength and every rad in the house heats up now and at a decent speed too.Summer is nearly over and now is a good time to give your central heating system a once over to make sure your central heating is ready for autumn /winter and show it some love!If you need a new circulation pump then you can't beat this decently priced (£97 at time of review) good quality pump that should give many years of hassle free service.Always consult a gas safe engineer/plumber.

Good product, excellent build
You receive a well made circulating pump, which feels as good as the original on an old boiler which needed a new pump. This is something for a heating engineer to install, and his impressions were a good standard pump, for what it offers thought the price was about right.Good product, excellent build

Excellent pump
We needed a replacement water pump and had this fitted by a professional who said it was very easy to fit and he felt the quality was excellent and was surprised by the price as it's lower than he expected. Very happy and we've had no problems with this.
