Looks soooo good on my 2019 f55 mini Cooper!! I was tired of having my license plate in the center and wanted a “sportier” look I guess and took a chance with this tow hook plate Mount. I live in california so you really play a risky game with no front license plate at all, so this was a solution to that problem. :) it fits perfectly and pretty sturdily in my tow hook spot, my only complaint is that driving fast will tilt the Mount a bit. But the off center look doesn’t bother me. Super worth the money!! 🫶

Worked great. My only suggestion is some written or illustrated instructions might be helpful, especially to know where the washer goes.

Several weeks ago, while driving my Mini Cooper Coupe JCW, I was stopped by one of our fine Orange County Deputy Sheriff''s for no front license plate. I explained to the Officer that front license plates are not required for guys driving "cool" cars; however, I was unable to cite the applicable vehicle code section in support of my position, and I was cited. Hence the necessity for purchasing the "No Drill Front Bumper Tow Hook License Plate Mounting Bracket Adapter Kit for 2015 Mini Cooper Coupe." Product arrived on time, went to their website for more detailed instructions, and installed the bracket in 5 minutes. Went to the local O'Reillys and bought a license frame holder, attached license plate to frame, frame to bracket and I was off to the local Sheriff for ticket sign-off. Now get this- as the Sheriff was admiring my "cool car" and saying it's to bad I had to "mess up" the front end, he then informs me that the license frame holder I purchased which has a plexi-glass cover - which I purposely selected to protect the license plate from bug, mud and other bother- is in the Great State of California, illegal; because the plexi-glass distorts the photos of the license plates, when taken with the toll-road and red light trap cameras. I just groaned as this was being explained to me and before I could come up with something clever to say, the Officer just smiled and said, "No worries, I'll sign the ticket cause any cop that pulls you over for a glass covered front license plate is just plain out to get you". Looks better than stock placement. Very easy to install. Seems sturdy enough.Worth the money

All the pictures show a black attachment, not raw aluminum. Pictured is everything I received. I have not attempted to install it yet, so no comments regarding the process. Currently debating if I should just return and find a better one.It might be okay if my Mini had Chrome trim, but it's completely blacked out. This is going to stick out like a sore thumb.

Tow bar was slightly too small for my 2019 Mini Cooper s 4 door hardtop R55. They sent me a longer one right away at no charge. Very happy with the finished product!

Could use a slightly beefier attachment bolt from the plate to the shaft that threads into the tow hook on the car. Otherwise all stainless hardware is nice. Just lock tight everything and works as advertised.
