I really liked this product, the smell of a pine forest in the morning.

This essential oil comes in a plastic medicine bottle and has actual fir needlse in it. The scent is really strange. It says that it is 100% fir oil but I swear it smells like a piney, smoky eucalyptus. Maybe that's what Siberian fir smells like. It definitely smells like winter. and I look forward trying it in my diffuser then. I can also see using it to scent a holiday wreath or ornaments.

Frankly, I was skeptical about a fir green essential oil. OMG, I was so wrong! The smell is amazing, strong, and long lasting! My friend asked if I have put a Christmas tree in my house. I’ll buy it again! Thank you, Siberian Green!

I LOVE the fragrance of pine and it's the one essential oil I don't have in my collection so I was intrigued by the product page and decided to pick up a bottle of Siberian Green Fir Needle Essential Oil 3.4 oz. Though I anticipated mainly using it for around Christmas or in the winter being it's not a typical potpourri liquid you'd go through fast I figured it would be more than enough to use when I wanted.Soo the scent right. Is it super pine smelling and like a Christmas tree?? Welll it's kinda pine smelling just not to the intense degree I was expecting maybe more like hoping. It's a more subtle smell but is pine to a degree. I had put 4 drops into my diffuser and stirred it into the water like I usually do with essential oils. I honestly didn't get the sense after turning on and running my diffuser for an hour that the oil has a good throw to it. It wasn't filling the space with much scent at all. Don't get me wrong I did only use 4 drops and I believe it was recommended you use 4-6. So I'm thinking a couple more would have been a better way to go.For me I'm not sold on the way it smells I guess. It's nice but I'm the extreme intense pine smell lover. Others may appreciate it more than I just dependent on what you prefer. Due to its subtleness I'm not sure adding it to say lotions or other products either would give much in the way of aromatherapy.

very strong smell, I would suggest using very less amount wven for massage. I usually put 2-3 drops in lotion and dont use it directly on skin. Scent is okayish and I didnt like it that much.

I got this with the hope that I could infuse certain areas of my house, such as the laundry room, with a nice, pine scent. When it arrived, I could smell the pine as soon as I opened the box. It even has a nice little pine branch inside the bottle. I started by putting some of the oil on a cotton ball and setting it in the laundry room. On a side note, the dispenser top is pretty bad. It doesn't control the flow very well and you will end up spilling some of the oil each time you go to pour it. After returning the next day, the laundry room had a sort of chemical cleanser smell. I didn't want to immediately blame the oil, so I decided that it was probably the interaction of the scent with the various soaps in that location. For my next test, I put it in a walk-in closet with no existing odors or smells. The next day, the result was the same. It smelled like some sort of chemical cleaner inside that closet. It's not a terrible smell, but it's certainly not the clean pine scent I was expecting.All in all, I thought this oil was pretty lackluster.
