Miller288924 Digital Elite Welding Helmet with ClearLight 2.0 Lens with External Grind, Black

I use this hood everyday for work, it is very clear and awesome to weld in. Takes a little bit to get use to but after you figure it out it’s super easy. I love the x-mode, comes in handy when the bay door is open and sunlight is beaming on you and your trying to weld. I think this hood is great for a full time welder. Just one thing to remember is to turn it off before putting it away. But I love this hood and would give it 5/5.

Hi and good evening! My name is Miles, and I am a medically retired veteran who struggles every day with physical injuries that cause me to have trouble with feeling, movements, and standard tasks. I also suffered from a head injury that caused me to lose a lot of my memories from my past. Since I was honorably discharged and retired I have been trying to relearn and retain all that I have lost. I have degrees in multiple fields of study, that are all gone, but the one I am focusing on now is relearning welding since I have been certified in the past. I attend Yuba College and take the welding program there under an amazing instructor. Today I had the honor of helping out during one of his Weld Camps that he puts on to all the high school students in the area. While I was there one of your employees was there with gear for those kids, and I was lucky enough to receive an amazing Helmet. When I got home I was so excited to try it out because I've been having so much trouble with TIG welding due to my physical issues. When I used the helmet for the first time, it was so clear, and the detail during the welding process was something beautiful! Just being able to see more clearly has boosted my self-esteem so much! Being on a fixed income makes it so hard for me to buy top of the line gear, so to have one of your reps go out of his way to make sure I had a chance to have this amazing Helmet means the world to me! Good viewing area. I have a speedglas hood as well. each has advantages. this one you can see alot more then any hood I have had. 30 plus years welding.
