CarharttMen's Helmet Liner Mask

I bought this as a mask to wear under my helmet and I’ve had no issues with it riding on the East coast. It is breathable comfortable, just as stylish as Stretches well and the fabric quality seems pretty good because it keeps me warm all day long. You can’t go wrong with Carhartt products.

I wear this for fishing in the winter, it keeps the wind off my face, very warm and can wear a beanie overtop without difficulty, my glasses do fog up from my breath but it's not really that bad, would recommend for warmth

Fits as expected. A little bit of the snug side but it’s suppose to be that way to keep it from falling off or moving around. Material feels thick and it’s real warm. I use a carhartt beanie over this for extra protection from the cold but it really ain’t even necessary this works real good it’s like a thermost it will make u sweat if u start moving around too much. The only thing I didn’t like was that tag inside is real big and was scratching my throat a little too much so I just cut it off. I would highly recommend this for winter use

Balaclava is very warm but my son is upset that the logo is in a different place than where the picture shows it will be

When I first got this thing, I compared it to my neoprene facemask I use for biking. I didn’t think it would be very useful. It doesn’t break the wind very well. And it’s not thick and warm like a polar fleece. But, if you are at all active, it’s the perfect tool for the chill out of the air. I wear it in my unheated garage all the time. I wear it all night walks. I wear it when biking in the spring and fall. It fits under a hat. It fits under a bike helmet. My only beef is I wear it a lot so it gets sweaty a lot I have to wash it by hand. But that’s a small price to pay for a terrific tool.Update:October 2019- I ordered a second one of these. When this one came it was a totally different fabric. It was more of the neoprene that I had originally expected. It is much warmer than the first one I ordered. The fabric on the first one I ordered seems much cheaper than this more neoprene-like fabric. They both have their purposes, but for real winter protection I prefer the second one. And it seems much more like a Carhart product.

Four years after purchasing, and it’s still holding up. I challenge you to find a better item in the same category. Will buy another soon, just because.

Blocks the wind great, doesn’t tug on my beard like other brands I’ve bought. Dries quickly if I get hot and sweat while shoveling snow
