First time in my book that a Chinese product is superior to a German one.
Not only was it cheaper than the previous German wooden hair brushes that I had purchased, it also seems to be of higher quality. Plus, its large size is much better for stimulating one’s scalp, because it covers a larger surface area than those other ones I own.The first week, the wooden bristles would really scrape my scalp and it honestly did hurt somewhat when I brushed my head with it, but after a week or so, it seemed like the wooden bristles got lubricated by my head’s natural oils, and eventually smoothened out, so it no longer hurts to brush with it.I really like this product because I can feel a an improvement on the blood circulation of my scalp due to me using it on a daily basis.I have been using it now for a couple of months strong, and it is still performing without any signs of deterioration, unlike the previous German ones I had bought that started crumbling apart within a couple of months of use.I will try to upload some photos that exemplify what I mean.I definitely would buy this product again.

Perfect for tender heads and long hair!
I am tender headed with very long wavy hair that tangles very bad and this brush did AMAZING! The wood bristles that don’t have a ball on the end, like traditional brushes, just slide over tangles without ripping them. It brushed my hair so quickly, efficiently and PAIN FREE, I recommend to anyone with a tender head or who struggles to find a brush that goes through their hair nicely. It’s pretty large but very nice quality, and it feels like a nice massage on your head (the bristles are not sharp at all and they’re soft and flexible)

Wooden pins on a budget!
SHORT VERSION: I really like this brush. It's a very generously-sized paddle brush that works well for medium (shoulder-length) or longer hair, and I recommend this brand for anyone looking to try a wooden pin hair brush but not spend a lot of money. I give it 4 out of 5 stars only because I do find that it can cause breakage if you aren't really careful with your brushing technique (also never ever use on wet or damp ends). LONG VERSION: I bought this after watching Youtuber HolisticHabits rave about Tek brand wooden brushes. The Tek brushes look great but I balked at the high price (the brush I wanted was $45 USD!) I could not justify spending so much on my first foray in the world of wood pin brushes, so I scoped out cheap alternatives here. I was worried that this was TOO cheap but I am really impressed at the quality for the price. I've used it daily for a couple weeks now and it is holding up nicely. I must reiterate what I said earlier about not using it on wet hair and I don't recommend using it on tight rats and tangles --get those with a wide toothed comb first. Having said all that I noticed a huge difference after brushing my hair with this brush as opposed to plastic pin brushes and I don't think I will ever buy a plastic brush or comb again. It definitely does a great job at dispersing my scalp's natural oils and brushing with this gives my hair that "shampoo commercial shine". FYI, my hair is just past my shoulders and wavy 2a/2b, uncolored/untreated, with a tendency to have dry ends & small, tight rats. I can't say if this particular item would be a good brush for coarser/curlier hair but a friend of mine with coarser curls (African American) recently told me she too has switched to all wood brushes and combs and that she will never go back to plastic --I think wood pins may just be a better option for every hair type! UPDATE: over a year later and I still love my brush. I have found it to be SUPER DURABLE. I'm klutzy and have dropped it several times and it has not cracked and all the pins are still in tact. I use a little wooden stick to lift out the hairs because they do build up.

Bigger than I expected, very durable!
Handle is a little odd to hold just because it's so wide and is a bit too smooth to be able to really grip but still pretty easy to use. Had a little weird rubber smell, but that's gone away a bit. I'm pretty rough with my brushes and usually the rubber will pop out from the brush casing, had this for a while and at this point especially it will happen, not with this brush! Very sturdy, at least so far so for that alone I highly recommend it! But also something with the placement of the bristles, or maybe it's the shape or since they're wood but I've found that it slides through my hair a lot nicer than other brushes do! Knots or snags in my hair come out really easily with this, really great!

Bristles are sharp on the tips
Not like a previous brush I had that I was trying to replace from years ago where The bristles were rounded on the tips and smooth. This brush however is not and kind of hurts if you don’t brush lightly. Would not recommend it for tender headed people

Cheaply made
I do not recommend for thick, long, curly hair. The bristles on this brush were bent in all sorts of directions on one end and it looks like it was made this way. It comes in a cellophane bag instead of a box but I don't believe it was mashed into this state. The more I looked at it, I realized a lot more of the bristles are askew and in general, it feels and looks cheaply made. I've been using bamboo hair brushes for 30 years and I can't find one of quality to replace the one I had (I believe the company went out of business). I went ahead and tried this one and it ripped my hair and the pins feel sharp on the scalp as they are pointed. Didn't care for the handle either as it's thin; doesn't stay in the hand firmly when you're brushing thick long hair.

Pretty good.
It’s a really nice brush, the bristles do seem a bit fragile, just keep that in mind when using, and don’t use for hard jobs in your hair. I bought it mostly to gently brush through dry scalp with oils.

No more static!
I love this brush. My hair is quite long and I have a lot of it so it looks really thick but each hair itself is actually very fine - so my hair gets very staticky. I used to have a wooden hair brush from The Body Shop, but it always felt like it was gonna break when I used it, that made me reluctant to buy another wooden brush but this one is amazing! No tangles, no static and it feels very sturdy. It distributes hair oil (natural and added) very well so hair doesn't feel greasy as quickly as it used to. Gives you a nice head massage too.100% would recommend.

Buena calidad
Me encanta.
