Alexander Hamilton, Revolutionary Hardcover – September 5, 2017

My book club chose this particular biography of Hamilton because it appeared to be an easier read than some. We wanted to read a book about Hamilton before watching the musical together. It helped so much to have read this prior to watching the musical. This book is aimed for a teen audience I think, but it was great for our group of older women.

It was thick with very small print

Well written biography of Hamilton.Suitable for any audience with an interest in this complex Founding Father. My 13 year old granddaughter was delighted with the book and I was equally impressed.What makes me highly recommend this book is it’s honest and unvarnished portrayal of Alexander Hamilton...a man who recently has had his life inaccurately twisted to fit a contemporary political narrative.This book is perfectly suited for a wide age range of readers because of it’s well crafted writing style as well as it’s content.

was looking for something for my 13 yr old grandaugher who is a fan of the Hamilton show. the book that the production was based on appeared like a very heavy read. This appeared more readable for her age and interest level. I have not read it.

An excellent book. Am giving copies to my 13 year old grandson and his best buddy this very afternoon. Not only is it interesting to read, but the design of the book is stellar. There are many highlighted quotations and photographs to help bring alive the story for young minds. And the rich-looking cover! Made to look like currency, it has foil and feels three-dimensional, with great details. With hats off to the author, and to Raphael Geroni Design, for a gorgeous book inside and out.

Quick read for those who enjoy history. Well know detail is presented in very readable fashion. Facts are dead on pulled together seamlessly.

It’s a banger book, the price is ok.

Such an entertaining, accessible, fluid way to really dig into Alexander Hamilton's life and learn what made him tick. Because what made him tick is also what made him die.Wonderful additional material at the back and an inspiring, tear-jerking note from the author about what are our duties to our both our country and Alexander Hamilton himself these days.

Wonderful present.

Bought for my husband ahead of seeing the show in June. He loves it.
