This is a great bottle when playing sports like tennis, where you don't need to lug the bottle around during the activity. Has plenty of space for water, an easy opening lid, doesn't leak, and looks great too. Comes in plenty of colors, etc.I think the weak point on the bottle is probably the strap that holds the lid on, I imagine that would break first after carrying it around by the strap. For the cheap price though, this is an excellent water bottle.

I mainly use glass water bottles. Even as a child I disliked the taste of drinking from plastic or metal. But glass isn't always ideal, or even allowed. I bought this bottle to use in situations where I can't take my glass ones due to weight or breakability.I know Nalgene has a good reputation and I expect it to last quite a long time. I also prefer my bottles without complex drinking mechanisms. The simpler it is, the less places for bacteria to hide, and the less likely it is to break. So I appreciate that this just has a simple screw top. The part that connects the cap to the bottle is always what breaks first on most bottles, so I'm careful with it. But it seems quite durable so far.I use my Life Factory bottles with just a screw cap for most things (even at home I use them instead of regular glasses). So I'm used to drinking from a wide mouth with screw threads. It doesn't bother me at all. If it bothers you at first, don't worry! You get used to it and stop even noticing.As a bonus, I really like the color I chose! More unique than plain blue, but still not crazy.

I have one of these but purchased this one on Amazon because I liked the color scheme. These are great! 1000ml is a good amount of H2O to carry without feeling too heavy. Even when full I'll typically carry this by the lid ring and so far it's held up! I like the wide mouth, it makes it easy to drink from and clean. A lot of the nurses have Hydroflasks and Yetis for their water but I enjoy the simplicity and lightness of the Nalgenes. I should add that I never add ice to my water, so that's probably why I don't mind that this one is not double-walled or insulated (no concern for condensation sweating). I also let this one tumble in my truck or work bag and have not yet had a leak. I've dropped it a few times too, and while it got a scuff mark - it didn't scratch badly or break. Nice!

Who doesn’t love a Nalgene bottle? I have two bottles with the smaller mouth, but this is my first “wide-mouthed”You can’t throw it up like a small mouth to chug it but it’s not a big deal at all. Aubergine looks super cool in person contrasted with the yellow. Go for it, it’s a relatively cheap purchase for something that lasts years even if you beat the crap out of it.

I love my Nalgene water bottle so much and the eggplant color is so pretty! I've tried a couple of other types of water bottles in the past and they just weren't easy to take around and didn't fit ice cubes. I love that I can put full ice cubes in this bottle and I also love the little loop connecting the lid. I just loop it around my finger and carry it around with me. I've also accidentally dropped this bottle hard twice and it didn't leave a mark. I am impressed! This clumsy fool approves of these tough water bottles.

I love the wide-mouth version of this - super easy to clean (my hand fits inside) and very portable. It carries a good amount of water for the day and fits in my small backpack (I have a Jansport pint backpack for reference). Solid and well made. I got this in Aubergine and it's soooo pretty! Love love love. Highly recommended.

Really love these water bottles. They look and feel great, and there's something really satisfying about its wide mouth design. Cap doesn't leak a single bit and has no problem staying attached to the bottle.

I love this water bottle. Its large enough for the amount of water I need on a good hike and still has a loop to attach to a backpack!

El plástico de la botella es de muy buena calidad, me gustó porque no huele a humedad después de varios usos como otras botellas de plástico. Desafortunadamente ya no contaban con el color que yo había pedido, pero me contactaron para comentarme esto y para ofrecerme otro color o la devolución de mi dinero. La atención fue excelente y recibí el pedido antes de la fecha estimada.

My husband & I are obsessed with these bottles. He has two, one for work & one for gym & I have one.They are strong, durable & leak proof, the mouth is wide enough that you can fit a hand inside to clean it efficiently. The plastic does not smell or taste of anything. They are too big for cup holders in the car, but sturdy enough that they can be thrown into the footwell.If we lose any of our bottles we will buy them again, I have bought these for family for gifts too, they are absolutely great.
