I bought these about a year ago figuring they would be something cheap and simple to keep my heels less cracked and rough. To my surprise these little foot sanders have proven to be very good, so good in face I've not thrown the first one away yet after a year of frequent use on my feet.

I've been searching for a good foot file - while I get regular pedicures from May through October (every 2-3 weeks), I don't do this during the fall and winter seasons. I like to keep my feet smooth between pedicures and throughout the fall and winter, however - and was finding that the PedEgg wasn't removing calluses as well as I hoped, and it left the skin around my heels rough. I looked at a number of different styles - electric, callus shavers, micro-planes and other rasps - and finally decided on these, especially since the callus shavers and micro-plane styles weren't giving me the results I wanted. This foot file is great - I can use it wet or dry, with a callus remover liquid/gel or by itself. In just a few quick minutes, it removes rough skin, leaving me with smooth, soft feet. The file cleans up easily (just rinse under water, use a little liquid soap if needed). And because this doesn't have any blades, I don't have to worry about accidentally nicking my skin! I went with the 4 pack of blue and white files. I was looking for something inexpensive that would still be effective and this definitely did what it was supposed to. The handle is comfortable to hold and the file does a good job removing the calluses while not damaging healthy skin in the process. I've had some more expensive ones in the past and many of them were not only less effective but a lot more damaging to skin as well. I am happy with the purchase.

Skin on my heel got hardened and rough for years. Then I started picking on it with my fingers and tried to peel off small pieces. The process caused the heel to form rougher edges, and even sharp edges. Sometimes it bleeds and is painful. The heel was so rough than the sharper edges threaded underwear, workout shorts and blanket.These scrubber tools work wonder, especially the rougher one (metal). Within first 5 mins, I was able to smooth down the rough skins back to a comfortable level. I recommend to work on it in shower or on wet skin, and apply slightest force to let it work its way thru the rough skin, and increase the pressure slightly as needed. I did it in multiple sessions until completely satisfied. The design of metal scrubber is pretty good for safety. It only catches on well on rough skin, and pretty much slide thru on healthy skin. But, still need to be careful so not to bleed ourselves.I am so happy with the purchase

This product works amazing! I have really bad calluses on my feet and my heal will get deep cracks. I soaked my foot for about 15 minutes and went at it with the callus remote and after about 5 minutes I was amazed. I started with the less sore foot and I was done! I used the file and it was baby soft and I had feeling my back on the bottom of my feet. Rinse and topped with lotion and a sock I felt amazing! The other foot took closer to 10 minutes to remove all the callus but that’s a huge difference from the closer to 30 each foot I was spending before! My feet look and feel amazing. I am so satisfied with this product when the callus remover dulls I will absolutely be buying another.

I get painful cracks in the calluses on my heals so I must "debulk" them virtually every day. These small and gentle files are simply not up to the job. The coarse side fills up with skin debris almost instantly and ceases to function. I get much better results with the larger and more aggressive Diane file which I have used successfully for years. I would say that this little plastic files would be fine for very minimal callus removal or skin smoothing. That's it. So, they are a decent product, just not up to the job of real callus removal.

My feet are so bad if I posted a picture it would probably be removed for being offensive. My callouses are hard like concrete and always make holes in the heels of my socks. I usually use a small electric sander with emery sand paper to clean my feet which works good but make a mess. I've only used the smaller metal file and it effortlessly left a big mound of dead skin with just a few strokes, It was actually easier and better then the electric sander. I've used pumice stones in the shower and they are just so much work and take forever. This one seems to have have some type of complicated pattern that just makes the dead skin come right off. One side of the small metal file has a pattern that really makes the dead skin powder start to rain down, and the other smoothes it out. It's like I woke up in the year 3000 and found these amazing mathematically designed patterns etched in the metal that work perfectly. No one should ever waste their time with those stones that take forever.

The foot file is amazing. It effortlessly removes all the dead skin and calluses that many foot files do not. With that being said, be careful not to overdo the filing. I overdid it a bit with one spot on on one of my feet because I had gotten used to scrubbing longer and more aggressively with my ped egg and my foot is a bit sensitive. However it does do a great job not to cause major injury so it did not cause any bleeding. I did not have any issues with my other foot when I was more gentle. This will keep you from spending a lot of money at the nail salon when you just want to remove dead skin and keep you from having to pay for the more expensive pedicure packages to remove calluses. This is great for people who are constantly on their feet.

This...is....the ...best...foot file set....EVERR!!Love it.I was very skeptical about the quality given the price. But it pleasantly surprised me. I have been through an international move, a week long sick ness and I am a mom. So my feet had the worst handling in the last 4 weeks. I wish I had taken a before pic to share. But my feet are clean as can be with this tool. Very good quality and works great(est).
