SL15T Electronic Ballast for Multiple CFL and Linear Fluorescent Lamps (2 Pack)

Since this ballast is an 8 wire version that can also replace an old 9 wire version, a wiring diagram is needed to install correctly. I did find the online wiring diagram and with it made the necessary changes. This installation should not be attempted by anyone not familiar with electrical wiring, electrical safety, basic wiring tools, and the proper wire nuts. It would have been helpful to include a printed instruction sheet with the ballasts. Once properly installed worked fine.

I was getting ready to throw away my old garage lights away when I decided to buy this ballasts. They were easy to install and after a month they are still working perfectly.

This item was easy to install and works well. Used it to replace an older version of the ballast by the same manufacturer. The only thing that was different between this item and the replacement item was there was no ground wire to connect to. I’m assuming that the ground wire is internally attached to the ballast case.

after about 30 days of being turned on about 10 times and Maby about 2 hours of actual on time one failed and i had to replace it again, its been a little over a week sense i changed it out and so far its still working. time will tell

I hated fluorescent lighting until I had to replace a part in one. After spending some quality time fixing my light fixture I have grown quite fond of it. Who do I have to thank, easy, Sunpark SL15T electronic ballast for multiple CFL and linear fluorescent lamps (2 Pack). Wow, just wow. I never would have guessed that a simple ballast two pack could spark such a friendship between a man and a light.

Replaced my ballast, the new one had different wires but the instructions on the ballast made it very easy....

Easy install (follow the wiring diagram on the ballast).This is for T8 Fixtures (that's what I have).After installing these, I came across 4ft LED fixtures for $15ea at J'Lots.

The product worked as advertised and was easy to install. The wiring was a little different but I followed the suggestion in the comments for the product and it worked just fine.
