The lessons are clearly laid out, but this is definitely more advanced than grade 4. If your child is struggling or needs extra practice in math, I would recommend starting with the grade 2-3 version.

The book is colorful, illustrated, with high quality paper. I will use together with the textbook to study maths at home with my son.

I recommend this book for 5 graders and 6 graders. It clearly demonstrates each knowledge point of the math and teaches step by step how it works with practices. It’s a good book for reviewing as well.

I think my 9 years old boy needs to have more practice in math and improve his levels. I had a quick browse of this book after I received it, and think the levels of difficulty is just good for a grade 4 student. Hope my son can do better in math after using this book.
