Q: Do I just pour the ethanol straight into the box

Yes just pour ethanol straight into box & light it. I use a long gas lighter to light it. Then close the little hatch with the metal tool provided & this puts the fire out. Hope this helps

Q: Does this come as described with the silver surround or is it just the centre part? & also does this fit in the wall or on the wall with a bracket?

It is a complete unit so it has the silver surround black fire and the fire box for the ethanol to burn in it comes with the wall fixings to attach the fire to the wall hope this helps
