It would have been better if the screws were longer, but it works well enough.

These rivets only work for thinner materials. The screws are too short it's impossible to use in thicker leather goods.

I ordered these to modify a couple of LV purses. I have seen others doing this online and was nervous to try it myself, but these worked perfectly. I’ve been using a couple sets of them for probably six months or so and I don’t see any signs of discoloration. They attached very securely. Glad I took a chance on these.

I love using D rings of this type so attaching a strap to my handmade purses is easy! I have only found smaller ones up until this point. The limitation of the small ones is the swivel clasp must have a narrow diameter or it doesn’t fit through the ring itself. That’s a problem because I have quite a few swivel clasps that are thicker so they can withstand more weight. I’m so excited about these D rings! I am able to use my beefy swivel clasps without a problem. The D ring itself is large and in charge. I feel confident that it will stay put and bear the weight of the purse. One thing to note: the color of the D ring is not quite “gold.” It’s has a little pinkish tint. Not a problem for me as some of my clasps are tinted the same. But the screw is not the same color. Its is a more true gold color, not pinkish. It’s not a big deal to me since it’s on the opposite side of the D ring and probably not noticeable but it’s worth mentioning. Bravo!

These are perfect for attaching straps, etc. to purses, or making golf towels or similar. They are quite lightweight, but I believe that's the nature of zinc alloy. They seem to be very durable, and I like the look of them. They are well-finished with no sharp edges or places that will snag your fabric. The nice snap-lock plastic box is a plus, since you will not use all of these at once, and will need to keep them together for the next time you use them. Recommended.
