I was a little hesitant to purchase because a number of reviews mentioned the cars get "stuck", but I just thought the design of this one was cuter than the others. I don't have anything to compare it to, but it's true, the cars do get stuck occasionally... but when they do, my daughter "repairs" the thing; she has to look around and investigate, find the problem, and extract the car. I feel like this "quirk" of it's performance is actually a benefit, because it creates an organic learning environment where she's forced to interact with the toy on a deeper level than just "push button, receive entertainment", and she's learning that there's a little bit of chaos to the mechanical world and sometimes you do the same thing twice and get two different results.

Not happy with this toy. Very small, and they don't always work. Over half of the time a car gets stuck and doesn't smoothly roll down the track. Very disappointed. Would not recommend or buy again. Look for something a little bigger and better built.
