I enjoyed doing the coasters. They are different from the pictures because the backs are solid and easier to move from one space to another. The gems are shiny and vibrant. I recommend to anyone wanting to try diamond art. They are about 4 colors per coaster and have patterns. The pictures are typically many colors and harder because idbtye detail. Fun new hobby

I love the designs of these coasters, the brightness of the colors, and that a holder is included. The reason for taking off a star is that the first one I finished, the turquoise and red one, had several misprints of the codes for diamond placements which would have destroyed the symmetry had they not been caught. Since I've only done two of the eight so far, there may be others with mistakes. Diamond art, especially coasters, must be sealed, and sealants are sold separately by Amazon. I've also ordered 3.74" cork discs to apply to the bottoms.

My friend introduced me to diamond art and now I am addicted. This was my first project. I picked coasters because it is fast and able to see a finished product quickly. I made 4 sets of Christmas presents this year and everyone loved them! Don't forget to waterproof the coasters.Everything you need is included in the kit, with more than enough beads. I worked on one color at a time, and after opening the bead bag, transferred them to a small baggie and labeled the baggie. This kept everything organized. It is a fun project for kids as well.

Easy way to do something with your hands that turns out really pretty.

For anyone new to this art craft of diamond painting, this is my take on this purchase.This came to me packaged in a nice box I will be able to use to gift this coaster set. There are 13 packages of beautiful crystal drills and a nice stand the coasters will sit in. There are 8 coasters each with a different beautiful design. Each is mounted to a nice wood base. When finished I will apply a resin sealer and put a round piece of thin cork to bottom of each. In the second pic I show the crystal packages and how I organize them as I work. I cut the symbols from the small packages and taped them to the top of the divided box. I will peel back the film layer on the top of the coaster and begin applying the sparkling crystals. They should be very pretty. I am happy with this purchase.

I will start with the positives I was really excited when I opened these because the rhinestones and gems are beautiful much more vibrant and Crystal like than most I've seen. The downside is while I will use this as a gift to put in an office I definitely could not use them as coasters as the material is very very thin and I don't think that it will be durable for something hot or cold or even wet. And the designs are absolutely beautiful but the diamond placement leaves a lot of gaps so I added more gems I haven't finished the project so it's possible that I might run out. I definitely have seen better quality but the gems are the most vibrant I've seen so far. But I can't say that I would buy this product again. One other thing the stickiness exceeds where the actual gems go so it's likely dust and other things will stick to it.
