NASCAR Heat 2 - PlayStation 4

I've really enjoyed NASCAR Heat 2. In Career mode, you start out hoping someone will let you fill in for another driver in the truck series. That might happen five or six times the first season. If you do well enough, contracts will be offered to drive in the truck series the next season. You work through the schedule getting to know each track, adjusting tire pressures as necessary, figuring out how to go fast through each corner. Then qualifying for start position and the race. If that season goes well, you're offered contract for the pony car series and if that goes well you're offered contracts for the big time. I thought I knew a lot about NASCAR, but I'm amazed at the variety of tracks. There are small ovals that require a set of skills, large tracks like Daytona and Talladega where you put the throttle down at the start of the race and don't let up until the race is over. There are also road courses which are a lot harder than I would have guessed. In the truck series, there's even a dirt track in Florida. Imagine driving with 800 horse power on a small dirt oval with 30+ other trucks. Something I appreciate is that after I bump a few cars and slide into a wall coming out of a corner, my car still looks great. Another thing I appreciate is that after the race I can replay it with several different camera views. During a race, you can feel your car kind of going sideways a little and you hear your spotter saying "Oh! Oh! He's on your bumper! He's on your bumper!" After the race, you get to watch and see what was happening. Good chance to learn. Another good thing is that there aren't yellow flag laps after a crash with restarts. Starts are difficult with high speeds and cars all around and a sensitive joystick - One start per game is enough. Well, It's an absolutely great program - I'm glad I bought it.

OK, I put 5 stars because for the price, it is 5 stars. If it was $60, then it would be closer to 4. Compared to last years game, it is miles ahead. I would give it an 8/10 compared to all previous NASCAR games. It is not the best, but this company has listened to fans and I think future installments will continue to be worth the purchase. Last years game collected dust after a few days for me. This one, you can hop right in and have fun and enjoy yourself. Worth the purchase. Additional series are also a great addition. If you are looking for a simulation, look elsewhere, but I wouldn't be turned away because of that.

Well i have to say that after only 5 games, all online, they have made some vast improvements to the game. Cars handle better, you can complete a race now. Previously if you had some idiot wreck you there was no catching up. Now with yellow flags everyone can complete a race. Also like the way they added CPU cars to a multiplayer race. if you race say Atlanta with 5 human cars you wind up alone and bored most of the game. Now you can drive with those 5 humans and then 35 computer cars so the track is full like it should be. Still some things they need to work on. Some way to "ghost" or remove guys who are obviously just trying to screw up everyones game. They need to put an in race chat. Befriending 20 people from a race and starting a ps4 chat is obviously not practical.

Happy with game,big improvements from last years NASCAR Heat Evolution. Needs a little improvement on the point system example: in career mode if you are under contract in truck series and race (in hot seat) for an Xfinity team. You should only get points for the series in which you’re under contract with ( the trucks in this case) and not both series which is what happens in this game as I recieved points for both series. Needs some improvements in allowing you to use your money in career (like you were able to in previous edition) Maybe some upgrades to your ride. I would even suggest maybe even a Hall of fame mode like Madden NFL has had in the past.Not happy with the fact that they didn’t have the Charlotte Motor Speedway Road Course that will be run in the playoffs in 2018 ( I think they should have added it with the other road courses they added in the game. On the other hand they have excellent graphics.The game can be a little boring for the novice or general fan. But if you really love racing and NASCAR like me you will enjoy it

NASCAR Heat 2 is an improvement over the original in almost every way. There are more drivers, all 3 series, good music, better visuals, more modes, better online play and so much more. They are headed in the right direction. I reviewed this on my Youtube channel and gave it a 3.5 out of 5. I think it's a fun racer that will satisfy NASCAR fans until next year, when hopefully they improve things once again.

Bought this for my 11 year old son who had the first version of this. He said this one is soo much better. He loves it and so does my husband. One thing that stands out with the 2nd version is 2 people (in the same room) can race at the same time. My husband and son said the first one did not allow you to do that (I think it only allowed you to play multiple players while online)? Not 100% sure. But either way they both have been enjoying this and I saw some reviews where they claimed the graphics were poor compared to the first one. I disagree. I definitely noticed better graphics. I can't comment on the anti-aliasing since I never really payed a lot of attention to the first one but my son says it's better in the second.

Great game, really enjoying it so far. The graphics are much improved from last year's NASCAR Heat. I really like the addition of the Camping World and Xfinity series, plus the road courses are awesome! All the courses are unlocked from the start and the base game has plenty of drivers and paint schemes. I'm sure we'll see quite a bit more with the DLC packs as well which is why I also opted to buy the Pit Pass for $30 which includes all 2017 DLC packs.

This game is fun. Great to play on your own and with other people in the same room! Player vs. player and it is in the same room using two controllers, NOT over the internet! What a great idea ! Graphics aren't the best, but they are still really good. Awesome racing sim with long loading times but totally worth it!

Wer Rundstrecken-Action sucht ist hier super aufgehoben.Die deutliche bekannteren Spiele "Formel 1" und "Moto GP" bieten deutlich weniger als dieses Nascar Spiel.Positiv:- viele Strecken- viele Autos- genialer Soundtrack- sehr schöner KarrieremodusNegativ:- leider nur komplett auf Englisch (Menu-Führung, Kommentar usw.)

Bon jeu pas plus. L'ajout de la série campingworld les camionnettes et les x-finity c'est bien. Le mode carrière est amélioré mais les sensations de conduite au volant sont très ordinaire. En ligne difficile de trouver des adversaires fairplay c'est un véritable derby de démolition.Graphique dépassé pour la Ps4. Mieux vaut se diriger vers project cars 2 ou grand turismo
