Most important this thing sounds great with a range of different tones and responsive controls. I Bought this pedal because the unique design caught my eye, and for the price I couldn't lose. Haven't seen any pedals and slim as this one. Very sturdy and well built. There are led lights on the foot switch to show it's powered on, and also on the knob markers so you can see the settings in a dark environment. You can use a standard 9v center negative power supply or they also included an adapter so that you can use a 9v battery. Nice surface on the bottom to apply Velcro and get on a pedal board. And I love the artwork on the front. Can't wait to see more from this company, hoping for a full range of great effects at this low price point.

I was looking for a warm, round, yet still punchy distortion. This was muddy and indistinct. Still probably a great value (if that's the sound you're looking for). The Boss DS1 is way more crisp, has a brighter tone and cuts through much better than this Morceau (just for comparison).

Myself, along with others was attracted to the graphics at first sight. I had never heard of Morceau Music,but after reading the handful of reviews, I thought what the heck, I’ll try it. After hooking it up, I was impressed how low you could go with just a hint of breakup without going completely overboard. Even at maximum gain it still had a nice clarity with single notes & chords (with single coil Pups). With humbuckers, Katie bar the door, you get more drive without losing the clarity I spoke of. It’s not for metal heads, or someone who wants to get dirty with 80,s rock. But for some guys like me who love blues & southern rock, I think it’s the ticket I,ve been chasing after for a good number of years. Yeah, I’m a dinosaur pushing 60, but I know what I like to hear coming out of my (tube) amp. For the price, it’s a steal. Heck, I,ve spent more on a lousy steak dinner, and this Morceau overdrive is worth ten times more than a decent meal. I just ordered another one as a gift for a friend to share in the joy. This pedal is amazing! Worth more than the price IMO. Lights are cool, slim design, flat on bottom for Velcro, true bypass and sounds great! I pronounce the brand as "more-so". It's a dumbed down version of the French pronunciation.

I bought this pedal on a whim because I needed an OD pedal but I didn't want to pay boutique prices as it isn't an effect I use all of the time. I currently have TS-808 clone and & OCD clone and I love the TS clone but the OCD clone doesn't work for either of my rigs (small practice rig & a half-stack rig). I was hoping the M-OD-01 would be closer to the TS than the OCD and boy did luck out. To my ears, the M-OD-01 is even more transparent and even sounding than either of the 2 ODs I have mentioned. It can get as twice as bright and hot as the TS without near as much of a cutting the Bass and it doesn't seem to boost the bass either. So, in other words, it is perfect for me! I honestly don't think I could have purchased a better OD pedal if I tried. For the price of admission, this pedal is a no-brainer. The slim design and killer graphics don't hurt it either. For the sake of reference, I will let you know I am using this pedal to make a Green Russian Muff sound a little brighter or to push an amp with high gain into overdrive.All-in-all I would definitely purchase this pedal again and I would recommend it to a friend.

Classic TS808 SOUND in the coolest casing I've ever seen. Seems solid, and the lights are very cool.

Great overdrive! Does exactly what it's supposed to and looks really cool too. Can't beat that price either.. get it!

Pedal has a nice sustain without adding to much distortion, just like an overdrive pedal should do. Price was very reasonable
