I’m about to be 17 and I swear putting on a ponytail on my little 3yr sister is IMPOSSIBLE! Seriously not only does she squirm around, but I have no idea how to actually put one on. I tried looking at tutorials, but I just can’t, and when I do get one on their loose and to far down.So I did the only other practical thing left I went online shopping. And God all mighty has blessed me with this ingenious invention! Hooks are so useful! I can now get a ponytail onto my sister in less than a minute and half! Now you may not be impressed by that, but for me that used to be unfathomable. So I really really urge you to try these if you also struggle with putting ponytails on your little ones, worked great with my 3yr old sister. And the ponytails depending on how much you tighten them up will get pretty firm. Love this product! I was tired of buying pony tail bands that kept breaking or did not provide enough tension. The hooks on this bands may be intimidating to some; but believe me, it's so easy and safe to use. I have a lot of hair that is thick and wavy. This product is able to wrap around it and hold it in place without causing any damage. You can also adjust tension by adjusting the amount of times your go around your pony tail or where you hook into the hair. Sounds crazy, I know! But I have not hooked to nothing but my hear. No scalp pain at all even when I make my hair tight for those fashionable hair styles.

These are terrific. They are very well made and seem to last forever. Two things; they are sort of short, about five inches from top of hook to top of hook, and the hooks themselves need to be squeezed shut a bit. If you have a lot of hair, they may not be the best choice, or if you don't have a pair of pliers, but otherwise they work well and last forever.

I guess I didnt really think this one thru. I figured they would be long enough to wrap around my dreads to get them off my neck. they just barely reach and they get caught in them (hooked) when u try to remove. TOTES my fault, they do stay there and dont slip or come undone but EVERYTHING sticks to my dreads sooooo. i give three just as a "meh" for ME. might be AWESOME for peeps who smooth hairs!!!! :)

Love these! I’ll never go back to using a standard holder again. Only downside is that if you have very little or very thin hair these MAY not work. The hook needs something to grip so if your hair is very smooth it may not grip well enough. That being said, I have thin hair, which I almost ALWAYS put some kind of bend into (almost never wear completely straight) and that helps to get some grip for the hooks. All in all great product, comfortable, and keeps my styles in place!

Not what I thought. You have to connect multiple pieces in order to make a headband and the metal devices on the strings, hurt. Not what I expected at all.

They work! My daughter has thick long hair and getting that last loop on her hair is always painful and rough in her hair. And then to take it out! I usually put a regular one one a little loose and then follow up with this one really tight. The best part is taking it out. With quick hairstyle changes during dance competitions it’s great!

A famous hairdresser suggested these over ponytail holders. I didn’t think it would much of a difference, but I was so wrong! I have thick dreadlocks. These make it easier to create high ponytail looks by being easier to handle with one hand, easier to set desired tightness and easier to secure. I’m in love with them!

These are the worst, impossible to even hook into the hair for a pony. Total waste of money
