Dance Women's Broadway Lo Character Shoe

NOT leather shoes. The only leather part is soles, the upper is marked with a "diamond" symbol, which means other materials. The description stated leather shoes. I'm attaching a picture of Blochs size 8 in comparison with Capezio 7.5, they are the same length. So the Blochs run small lengthwise, but as you see in the picture, their width is much more generous than Capezios'.Blochs also came with extra rubber sole material, if you want them non skid , you can take them to a shoe shop they will glue it for you.I m putting 3 stars for the misleading description.November 2, 2017, Edited: We reordered Blochs in size 8.5 for my daughter and they fit perfectly. She wears 7.5 in street shoes. Thanks for the free returns! I'm adding two more stars, they fixed the description to a "manmade". Great job.

I bought these shoes on April 5th. My daughter has only worn them for 2 weeks. Last night she told me that the strap had broken and needed it fixed. I asked her to bring me her shoes and this is what they look like now with only 2 weeks of wear- see pictures. The strap is not fixable without replacing the whole thing. The shoe is not leather at all, not even synthetic leather. The tan plastic coating over the shoe is pealing off as you can see in the pictures. The sole of one of the heels has come off (must have only been glued on, not nailed). There is a big hole in the heel under where the sole Used to be. These are extremely poorly made shoes. I’m wondering if they are even truly Bloch shoes or if they are fake as you can see from the pictures that the BLOCH stamp is smudged or smearing on the bottom of the shoes. If I could, I would have given this rating zero stars. This is extremely disappointing as my daughter is in the middle of a show run and we purhased these new shoes specifically for this show so that she would have nice new shoes to perform in. BUYER BEWARE!!!

These shoes are exactly what my daughter needs for the plays she's in. Bloch makes a high quality shoe, even at the entry level shoes these are. Ignore the Amazon sizing chart, it is not accurate for these shoes. I didn't realize it with the pair I first ordered for her, until they came and she tried them on. According to Amazon's shoe sizing chart (which is the one linked to these shoes), I ordered the right size (a US women's 7M), but the shoes were too small (they sent the size I ordered, so it wasn't the company's fault. I went to the Bloch website and looked at their sizing chart; it shows that the manufacturers size 7 (which is what I ordered and received), is actually a US size 6. So, we received the 7's today, they are going back tomorrow when the UPS place is open, and I just ordered the 8M's. Once she actually gets to wear them, I'll update this and let you know what she says about comfort level. My kids have had other Bloch shoes for dance classes before, so I'm not too worried.

These are well-made and very nice looking shoes. The height is perfect and the shoe does not pitch your weight forward onto the ball of the foot. I wear a solid 7, and depending on the shoe, regular or wide width. But, I also have very narrow heels and a high arch so finding shoes to fit my duck-feet can be challenging. That's where the strap comes into play, keeping the heels from sliding up and down.Thanks to other reviews, I chose the wide width and they are still a little tight across although the heel actually fits. So, these shoes do run a little small in width and in length. I'm wearing them in short spurts to hopefully stretch them just a tad. I think I should have gotten a half-size larger but it's too late now to return for an exchange.

We found once the shoes arrived that they were just a touch smaller than we anticipated, but the seller was FANTASTIC and we very, very quickly exchanged them for a larger size with no fuss at all. Thanks so much for a smooth purchase! My suggestion to anyone purchasing these shoes is to go a full size larger than you think you need as a 1/2 size is not quite big enough. The exchanged pair fit beautifully, so definitely a full size bigger than you expect.

My daughter has to wear these for her performance group. Her old ones were a little too tight so we ordered a new pair. When we received them they were dirty and had scuffed toes. She went ahead and tried them on to see if the fit was right. They were still too small. She usually wears a 7. We are moving up to an 8 after the 7.5 was still too small. When you pay full price you shouldn't get used and dirty items. P

I need an 11.5 M but that size does not yet exist so I figured I would try the 12 Mexpecting it to be a bit too big and possibly inserting an extra insole.The shoe was too small. Not sure if it was just this one pair or maybe this shoe runs small.I will be returning them. I gave a three star rating because I cannot answer those questions if the shoe is too small..

The shoes like they were a half size smaller, and I could not get them on my feet. I usually buy heels at a larger size for comfort, but did not this time. I have problem feet. My second toes are longer than my big toes and I have significant bunions. Shoe buying is a process. No negatives for the shoes.

I followed what the other reviews say and ordered a size and a half bigger than what I normally wear. They actually fit very comfortably.These shoes have nice soft insoles in them which make them super comfortable to wear. I did end up putting duct tape on the bottom of them to give them a little bit more grip without fully covering the suede soul. Worked perfectly. These are a great pair of character shoes for the price and they’re a trustworthy brand, so what’s not to like?

My regular size for shoes is 7 and based on many other reviews about the Bloch dance shoes I decided to order one full size up, so I ordered the 8M. It fits perfectly ! I highly recommand to everyone to order one full size up from their regular street shoe size ! I also read a review where someone posted a picture of a pair of Capizio and a pair of Bloch shoe side by side, and it was clearly noticable that the Capizio was much more narrow than the Bloch. I do have a little wider feet, so I decided to order the Bloch 8M and thanks to all the reviews it turned out to fit perfectly ! Capizio model would be most likely too narrow for me. You will also receive a pair of rubber sole for the Bloch shoes in case you want to make them not so slippery . For dancing it is perfect with the lether sole as it is !

I purchased these because I like to have a comfortable shoe on the occasions I dance. I am not a "Dancer" I figured if dancers wear these then they will be good for me. I like that they are leather an the ankle strap makes them feel secure. I have not had the opportunity to try them out for dancing. but so far i am happy with this purchase.

The shoes are very nice and look comfy. However, the sizing provided on the sellers description page is so wrong. The shoes run very small for Wide Width and the size 7 US is like 5.5-6 US regular- not wide. Advice for seller: put the correct description/conversion of the size. I was really looking forward to wearing these shoes only to find out they don't fit. Unfortunately there is size 8 and I am afraid 9 would be too loose. Nice shoes- wrong size description.

My wifeI usually buys. a size 6 but ordered 6/1-2 after reading reviews that the shoes are a small fit. Returned them and ordered size 7 and they fit perfectly. My wife doesn’t usually wear heels but these were very comfortable and the perfect shoe for her Tango class. They slide nicely without being being too slippy. Suggest buying one size up from your day shoe size.
