Asics Women's Gel-Resolution 8 Tennis Shoes

After reading the reviews, I ordered an 8.5, but the shoes were too long for me. I returned and ordered an 8 and they fit perfectly. I have a narrow foot, and the medium width is comfortable.I typically wear an 8.5 in tennis shoes, and have a different pair of asics that are 8.5 and fit well, but these seem a little longer...unless you like a lot of extra room in the toe box, but for me it felt awkward.

This is my 17th pair, as I wear daily with either scrubs at work or on the tennis court. Podiatrist recommended Asics to me after foot surgery. ONLY ONE THING that Asics has changed lately for the worse- they are sometimes MORE NARROW and also they are adding elastic straps across the arch. My wide foot with high arch is making me order less. Hopefully they will go back to the wider fit with no elastic straps. I cut them out for a better fit.

Lateral support is fine although the shoes are on the narrow side. What really makes these shoes unusable is the non-stretchable/non-adjustable strap woven into the lace region that lowers the ceiling of the shoe in the front. Because of this strap, the top of my foot can barely get in. They are not adjustable. So what's the point of the actual shoe laces? My old Gel-Resolution 6 didn't have this issue and were great. I am not going to purchase $119+ (without tax) shows to cut off a part of it to be comfortable. Returning.

This is a good shoe for pickleball. It offers good support and very good stability. As others have said, this shoe runs very narrow. My foot is average to slightly narrower than average and I needed the WIDE shoe. There's a lot of cushioning on all sides of the shoe, which offers great stability. That said, if you have a wide foot, this is likely not the shoe for you.

My daughter plays competitive tennis and these are by far the best shoes. The traction is superior and the soles last longer than all other brands we have tried. Additionally, they are very comfortable and give great foot support during play. I highly recommend these shoes.

I like wearing these because they run narrow for my double A feet. The shoelaces are way too short and hard to tie if you use all the lace holes.

Very comfortable and great tennis shoes ( side to side motion) with good sole. I use this for walking also. I love this color. asics always gives me great satisfaction

I have a normal size 8.5 womens shoe size. My feet are not wide nor narrow, just normal. I went up a size as suggested by most reviewers. I love the look of the shoes and they fit perfectly in the back and the gel sole is really great but the first time I wore them to play pickleball my feet actually went numb because they were so tight. I loosened them as far out as they would go and tried again. A little better but not much, A friend said to heat them up with a hair dryer before putting them on. Huge pain but that helps a little. I have worn them 3 times and don't feel like I should return them but they are really tight . I would have to say unless you really narrow feet don't spend your money on these
