Karan Gokani's passion for all things Sri lankan is well captured in this brilliant cookbook.His knowledge and research into the cuisine has shone through in the recipes and would highly recommend this to all foodies.Very rarely you see a cookbook that enthralls you and wanting to try the delicious recipes and of course to run to the nearest Hoppers Restaurant.

An amazingly intuitive recipe book, with lots of detail provided for each dish making it very easy to follow and create wonderful Sri Lankan food. The book is very well presented with wonderful photography and stories. A great addition to my book case and my kitchen.

This is a fantastic book full of some of my favourite dishes from one of my favourite restaurants. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. Karan is a brilliant chef, and the book is well worth it.One way ticket to flavour town!

This is one of the most beautiful cookbooks that I've bought and has very easy to follow recipes. I'm a beginner cook and I'm very excited to explore and learn about Sri Lankan cooking. Plus the cookbook makes for a great show piece on my coffee table !!
