Would buy again.
This tie clip is awesome. It's smaller than I expected, but evidently that's the proper size a tie clip should be and I've been wearing tie clips that are too big for my ties. Oops. I bought these for myself and the groomsmen at my wedding and they looked super sharp. A little hard to get on at first, but once you do, they are very secure. I like that it comes with a box, too, that's a very nice touch (I got my boxes engraved locally with my groomsmen's names and that turned out fantastic. Just an idea for anyone who wants to personalize it).Would recommend to anyone, especially at this price!

Strong clip and excellent customer service!
Disainer: I don't remember what size I'm using in my ppictures.Strong and durable, this clip will not let go. Seriously, it took a while to get it on my shirt because it is very stiff. Now, that is a GOOD THING. It won't move once it is on. After wrangling it for a while, I accidently opened it up too much, and it became a little too lose. They were gracious enough to send a replacement!Just be SUPER CAREFUL when you slide it on your tie, or the corners of the clip may snag your tie, like it did mine.(Yes, I do realize that my clip is too low on my dress shirt the first picture.)

Waaaay too tight
It looks nice but it's far too tight. I don't see how you can such a tight clip on + off a tie without damaging the tie. I would never bother finding out with a decent tie, that's for sure. This clip sits in the back of my top drawer and will likely never see the light of day again.Not recommended.

It does the job
Ordered this last minute for a wedding. It was first very narrow so I jimmied it open with my multitool which then made it too wide to hold down the tie. After a bit of elbow grease it was just the right amount of hold keeping my tie to my shirt.

This is exactly what I was looking for: a tie clip that's not too flashy or ostentatious, but still elegant and sophisticated. It looks nice and stays in place with no problem. One thing that confused me: the company sent me an email with tips on how to wear your tie clip, including one that said, "Your tie clip should go about 3/4 of the way across the tie. No more, no less." Consider the width of most modern ties, this one goes about 4/5 of the way across. I don't know how it could do anything but. But assuming you can live with this fashion faux pas, it's a great clip.

Very Nice, Sleek, and Simple
This tie bar clip is sleek, simple, and coordinates very well with my son's collection of slimmer-type ties. The brushed finish is nicely done, understated and not flashy
I needed a narrower tie clip for a particularly skinny tie -- after searching around Amazon for a bit, I ordered this one and it fit the bill. The brushed finish is nicely done, understated and not flashy. The tension on the clip is appropriate, tight enough to hold the tie in place but not so tight that you'll damage the fabric. It comes with a small storage box -- nothing special, but will make it less likely I'll misplace the clip.
