I was looking for a way to tone down my gray hair. I wanted it to look more salt and pepper than silver, especially on the sides and back which is cut short. This does the trick, and it is easy! After my hair is dry I just take a dab about the size of a nickel, rub my hands together, and then apply it lightly wherever I want to hide a little gray. The result is totally natural looking and works great on the short sides and back. After it dries, it stays until I wash it out. I slept with it in, and no stained pillow. It is a light holding gel, so I have to use a tiny bit of my usual pomade to get the hold right afterwards. It isn't cheap, but in my case a small amount is all I need, so I'm guessing one can will last quite a while.I have also been using Hair for Men Control GX. It is more involved and can be a little messy because it does contain dye, but doesn't really work well on short hair. I ended up getting more dark on top, and the sides and back pretty much stayed silver. The Kaf gel is great on short hair, works instantly and will hopefully give me instant results after my next haircut.Being a more mature man still in the workforce, this makes me look and feel younger, and gives me a confidence boost.

No use. I used 2 times no change in hair color. All white hairs are still white. Photo attaches is after my 2 use. I want my money back.

I was looking for something that wasn't complicated or long term, just a quick natural looking color tint. This fit the bill and works as advertised. Easy to add, with subtle, but noticeable, color enhancement, and light hold. The fragrance may be a little strong, but I would not characterize it as a negative, reminds me of being in a salon. If you're looking for simple , subtle, and temporary as needed, I think this fits the bill.

I was naturally skeptical at first but I gotta say I like this product and it's been working for me pretty good. This is my second purchase. I imagine that the people who are completely disappointed are trying to get complete hair color coverage - this is not for that. Like the description says, this is to retain the salt-and-pepper look if your hairs are starting to turn largely white. I was afraid the dark brown color would look off for me, but I'm very impressed with the color match and it looks natural. Really dials back about 5-10 years of hair whitening! I'm also impressed with how it doesn't drip or flake off - I gig with a band every weekend and it can get hot and sweaty on stage but holds up just fine. I use a bit of regular gel after using this product to give it a bit of extra "hold". Like many gel products, this gel loses its effectiveness as the day wears on. A stronger hold formula could perhaps minimize the need for reapplication. Also the can is a bit small, but I will be buying this again!

Hello, it appears that someone may used the product before I received. The product black residue in the nozzle. Don’t understand why.

I was highly skeptical. However, this product works amazing. I use for my hair AND my beard. My beard is 95% gray, and the photo is me after using this stuff. Key is to blow dry hair and face as not to get it all over your clothes when getting dressed.Product will last on you all day unless you get wet.Only downside - if you are going to be sweating at all, forget it. Hats, towels, clothes everything will get color marks. You will have lines of colored sweat down neck and face.I use it when I know I'm not going to be sweating and my family can't believe it.

I've been using this product for some time. It's easy to apply and doesn't stain your hands or scalp. It gives s very natural look. I've tried other similar products, but this is by far the best.

It doesnt cover your grays, it puts a very very slight tint to your hair, but far from covers it, it also doesnt dry, i blew dryed my hair, also waited 15 minutes to dry as also recommended and still didnt work. i took a kleenex and wiped across my hair and the color came off on the kleenex. 30 bucks for this is ridiculous, this should be on one of those infomercials for things that DO NOT WORK.! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.
