Used for a motorcycle seat release and it worked out great.

I liked the amount it came with and the tactile response of the buttons. I used this for my motorcycle seat pan made from fiberglass. It was either screws or u bolts, fortunately I found this quick release solution. I didn't like that the tip of the rod wasn't completely round, I've purcchased a different brand before and the rod tip was round, it looked as if it was more capable of locking in at angles as opposed to this version which gave me the impression that I needs to be dead set at 90 degrees to lock in. Nonetheless, it was a nonissue for my setup. I recommend this for any panels that require quick release on the other side as opposed to bolts! The time reduced from having to spin nuts is worth the little few bucks this costed.

Really like these and used them for a quick removal of my front bumper cover. Ran into a couple issues; one on the site's description/instructions of hole size and the other about the latch.Regarding the latch, there is a threaded insert that goes into the retaining body that composes as the latch. That is loosely threaded in and it may fall apart on you. If so, just put some loc-tite on the threads and screw it in with a couple of small drill bits bridged by a screw driver (or however you can would like). You can thread it back on by hand but can't really torque it.DO NOT FOLLOW the instructions which says to drill a 1.25" hole, but that's the diameter of the largest part of the whole retainer, so you wont be able to mount it to anything. Drill a 3/4" hole, anything larger the latch will have play. The mounting diameter of the retainer is 0.720"Again, still worth it compared to the name brand ones. Just wouldn't use these for mounting serious things like hoods unless if you had about 20 of them.

They're well built and very simple. As everyone else said make sure you put a thread locker on the threads for the inner core or you will have a bad time.

Worked great till they exploded and trunk lid flew off and was damaged beyond repair,

Easy to use but seem a little flimsy.Not certain mechanical latch/unlatch will stay closed???

They worked perfectly for what I wanted, the Bumper was impossible to keep in place, the locking tabs were broken, I saved myself from buying a new one and it was very secure, do not use the large nut that comes with the coupler to make it close better

I have a place for these but no time to I stall . I know they will work perfectly and I'll likely order more..
