Very Sharp
These pruning shears are very sharp and were easily able to cut through branches approximately 1/4โ thick while I was pruning my citrus and palm trees. I like the extra length of the blades and that I donโt have to worry about rust since they are made from stainless steel. The grips are a hard plastic and there is a metal flip lock to keep them closed when not in use. I thick they are a great value as a pack of two as well. I do wish the descriptions etc on the package were in English so I would know if I need to do anything special to take care of them. Overall pleased with the shears though!

Nice and sharp
These are really sharp and cut nicely. They feel good in the hand and so far have held up well to daily use.

Hard plastic handle, extra long blade
These are long, pointed and sharp. Think of them as long skinny scissors because that is how they work. These are not gardens shears for heavy pruning. This will be my harvest shears, cutting herbs and mint from the garden and cutting beans and peas from the vine. The plastic handle is hard with no cushion and is not ergonomic. It fits in my hand well but does not curve nor have finger dips cut out/molded. The long pointed blades are basic blades with a great long thin point to get into those plants and snip. Having 2 means I keep one with my harvest basket and one in the kitchen drawer. 4 stars for calling them shears when they really are just scissors and for labeling them for fruit tree pruning. They are not that strong.

Nifty pruning shears.
Handy very sharp pruning shears. These are meant for pruning small diameter plants. For example head-heading flowers, bonsai trees, or tings like green beans. They are very sharp and have a delicate, serrated edge. The handle in plastic. They curt through paper with ease and leave a very clean cut. They also could be used to trim roses as long as the stem is not to tough. Good shears for what they are meant to be used for.

A very versatile pair of shears!
We have a lot of "nature" on the property, and it grows quickly. Hubby is always pruning branches sticking into walkways, encroaching on buildings or lines, or just to enhance the shape of a favorite tree. I saw these long, thin shears with nice padded handles, at a fabulous price for a set of two, and ordered. Hubby loves them. The long cutting edge allows him to easily reach formerly difficult-to-reach spots for a clean trim. They are durable stainless steel, and very sharp. The handles are large enough to fit a man's hand, and are padded for comfort. I use them on occasion, as we have an aggressive deodora that keeps trying to block the stairwell! They are comfortable and easy to use. We are delighted with them, and would recommend them without hesitation. They would make a great gift for a gardener, or even a crafter.

a little bit chintzy, but gets the job done
the handles are a lightweight plastic that does not give me confidence that these will last for years to come, but they work for now and the blades are long and sharp as promised.

Springs not very strong
These aren't bad, but I have used a lot better. The springs are not very strong at all. They come loose quite easily. I'm a little concerned at how well these will even work for me and how long they'll last. You do at least get 2 sets. I guess time will tell when spring gets a little closer. I will update after some use.

Two shears saves from me having to clean them between plants
It would be nice if I only needed a set of shears for one type of plant, but I will usually need to prune different plants and I donโt want to switch to a different plant without cleaning the shears first. I can now keep one set of shears for indoor plants and a separate set for those outdoor pruning tasks where the full-size pruners are a bit too much. They are comfortable, easy to use, and plenty sharp for everything I have used them on so far.
