beautiful printing paper
These are lovely light weight papers for printing. I make lino prints and wanted to try some of the Japanese washi papers, which led me to these. They are ideal for hand print making, strong but with a lovely lightness to them, almost a semi transparency. They held the ink well, and actually took the image better from hand burnishing rather than putting through my press (the pressure I had on the press for cartridge paper caused the washi paper to crease, note: you need to take the pressure off a bit when working with these). The image from the lino held sharp lines, with no bleed or fuzzy edges. The paper is a bit pricey, so not something you would want to use as proofs, they are very much for the final print product. However, they are a reasonable price as washi papers can be very costly. A good choice for someone wanting to experiment with paper type. I would certainly order again as I have fallen a bit in love with them.

A good product for paper repairs
Repair of an old and rather valuable book

Tissue paper for repairing a book.
I only required a small piece so chose what came in the smallest packet, it was thicker than I imagined it was going to be. More like stiff paper than tissue.

Ink doesn't dry on this paper!
The quality of the print you get on this paper is fine but the ink simply doesn't dry - the paper is too shiny and non-porous. Seven days and counting on a small piece with ink that was thinly applied. If you need to put your work away quickly or frame it, I would not recommend this paper. Get a more expensive brand from an art shop as this is false economy.
